If the roster stands as it is today, will the Predators make the playoffs? I know its early, but let's just say Poile signs Weber (obviosuly) and that's it.

I chose 4-8.
Last year's playoffs looked like:
Van
SJ
Det
Anh
us
Phx
L.A.
Chi

Chicago, Columbus, L.A. and St.louis are the teams that will stay the same or move up, Dallas, Calgary and Phoenix will be moving down a few spots. I think it really comes down to significant injuries.

Our lack of offense makes it very hard to predict but as of now, we'll have to have this past year's Rinne, Suter and Weber in order to make them.

With no significant injuries, I expect we'll just squeak in with the 6-8 seed.

I said 4-8. As I see it you have Van/Det/SJ/LA in the mix for the top 4. I think we can compete with anybody else in the west. Hopefully the group we have now is more experienced, and knows what it takes to win after going through to the second round. That being said, we need another good season from Pekka.

I begrudgingly picked no, but only because we will be so young. Every young team, it seems, goes through growing pains. As of now, anywhere from 7-12, imo.

We were either the youngest or second youngest team in the NHL last year and we made it. I don't put too much into the youth thing, especially that the team has a younger and newer leadership group.

I voted yes in 4-8, but am regretting it. I think our division has gotten so much stronger. Personally, I beleive we are the 7th or 8th best team in the conference, but will finish 9th or 10th becuase of strength of schedule.
