Douglas Murray just is Flyers hockey.. haha. Im not sure what Dalpe's value is to the Canes. Would probably have to overpay for him, imo.
My friend is a Sharks fan and he said Doug is a machine when it comes to hits and blocked shots. I kinda noticed that about him too but its hard to get a sample when we only play them 1-2 games a season and they only play another 1-2 on versus. I would probably do Carle, Wellwood and a 3rd for Murray and McGinn. Gotta get a few game misconducts next season lol. Id probably do Carle and a 4th or 5th for Murray since he's a little older but he's still better than Carle on the defensive end. Not so much offensively though but that's just not how he plays and that's fine.
Ok off the top of my head here are some players I would like to see in Orange and Black in no partiular order.
Bobby Ryan
Gabe Landeskog
Jeff Carter
Steve Downie
Luke Schenn
Tyler Myers
Victor Hedman
John Quick
John Bernier
I love Quick because I saw him play for the Reading Royals in the ECHL for years. I went to their games all the time since the seats are cheap and we live like 10 minutes away. I knew he would be an NHL goalie. He was just too good in the minors not to be.
Ok everyone I said players who aren't superstars and what do you think it would take to get them? If someone wouldn't want a guy like Stamkos, Weber, or Doughty, they're crazy. Those players are obvious. I'm talking about the Clutterbuck's, Comeau's, Doug Murray's. Players who don't compete for best player in the league, or even close to it. Guys who do their jobs effectively, but not 55 goals and 45 assists worth of points. 40-50 point scorers, hitting defensemen, hitting forwards with scoring touch. Guys like that.
Rene Bourque
Kevin Shattenkirk
Mason Raymond
P-M Bouchard
Vlad Sobotka
John Madden
Eric Fehr
Johnny Boychuk
Chris Drury
I actually heard that the Canucks might trade Raymond and that we were interested. It was awhile ago so I don't know if they still might trade him. What would we have to trade to get him?
1. Mike Richards
2. Jeff Carter
3. Simon Gagne
4. Scotty Upshall
5. Mike Knuble
6. Aaron Asham
7. Steve Downie
Go to **** Homer. I have gone from your biggest fan to your biggest hater in what was it, 30 minutes? How the **** do you blow up that team? For reals.
Remember the JVR vs Tangradi poll? A lot of Pens fans voted for Tangradi. I think he's going to be very average. The guy just does not seem to be aggressive enough and I haven't noticed his hands or any scoring touch. I'm watching the Pens Lightning series game 6 right now - and I know it's his first playoff game and he's young but I just don't see it.

Which is twisted because I remember in the WJC a year or two ago, he was the most physically dominant forward for the Americans.

I wouldn't mind to see Martin Hanzal, Tuomas Ruutu, Ryan Suter, Patrice Bergeron, Brandon Sutter, Matt Martin, Leo Komarov, Jonathan Ericsson, Anton Strålman, Jonas Gustavsson, Linus Omark, Pekka Rinne or Evgeny Artyukhin in orange and black.
