Isles Fan coming in Peace VOTE YES

Hi Ranger fans — while we dont see eye to eye on the ice, and i know the rivalry has not been the same, I am hoping that every Ranger fan plans on voting on Monday, and I hope you all plan on voting YES. Its not just a vote for keeping the Isles on Long Island — and the rivalry alive — but the County, and Long Island needs a new arena for countless other events.

Hope you get to the polls and vote yes!

I hope everyone votes yes... The rivalry is awesome. WORST CASE it costs Nassau residents 13.80 a year...

Isle fans come here asking to vote Yes every other day. I would vote yes, but I don't live in Nassau. Good luck. Will be routing for you.

another one of these? I would vote no if I could just because Islanders fans are trying to tell us what to do.

Sorry, if i lived in Nassau i would definatly vote yes. With a new arena and facility, it will help attract positive attention to the county and team. would help them tremendously

I don't know, maybe after the 10th thread on our board, all Ranger fans in Nassau will vote yes.

Good luck though, I hope everything works out OK for Islander fans (Yes, that was very hard for me to say).

I got the impression that this is more of a plea rather than a command.

With the income of this county - it would be sad if we couldn't keep our hockey team. In fact, we should have found a way to house the Jets...

A "yes" vote is a vote against the Kansas City Inlanders.

Mets and Yanks payed for their stadiums themselves?

Stopped reading the article at that part there. Killed any credibility that article had.

I just want to say thanks to all the Rangers fans that are putting the rivalry aside and voting "yes" because it will be a good thing in the long run. I can't beilieve that there are people that actually want to see this team leave. We're improving a lot and I would hate to see this team go when they're on the rise. Both the Islanders and Rangers will have very competetive teams in a couple years and the rivalry will be better then ever.

I say let the billionaires pay for their own stadiums! Not only Wang but anyone else. Why should a tapayer who could care less about going to a sporting event or any event in a stadium pay! 90 % of the the tax payers may never set foot in the new Nassau Coloseum.
