Who is the new Face of the Franchise?

I want to stop all the talk about the old faces. We cant rebuy them or can change the trade, although i hate a lot.

So lets look forward.

We need a new Face for our Franchise and i questioned myself who could it be.

- Is it Pronger because of his real huge career.
- Is it Briere because of his PO Performance year in year out
- Is it Bryzgalov because he will be one of the best goalies in the next years
- Is it JVR because of his potential upside
- Or is it Giroux because of his natural skill and his all around game

For me it must be Giroux, because he brings everything to the game. He plays PP/PK he is a top passer and a good goal scorer, he is a solid checker and a good two way player. He shows intensity and is a big time player and a big game scorer. So what more can we ask about a player to do for our Franchise?

For me it isnt worth a question!

Its Giroux

IMO it's Giroux without a doubt. I feel like he will stick with the club for a good while and they will build the team around him and JVR. Also I see him getting the "C" at some point in the future.

I'd guess it would have to be Giroux or JVR

How can a guy sitting on a one year contract be a Franchise Face?
Or how can unproven youngsters be it?

*confused*

He was joking about Jagr...

Also, the keys to this team will eventually be handed to Giroux, JVR, Schenn, and Couturier. I have absolutely no question about that.

Right now I'd argue that there is no face to this franchise. There are numerous faces that stick out for different reasons, but until we have a player or a handful of players that clearly lead this team both on the ice and in the locker room, there is no one or two face(s) to this team.

Giroux and JVR. Hopefully the young kids Schenn and Couturier join them.

Management wants roo to be here forever. They said so when they moved him up from the AHL (and gave up upshall)

He's going to be a lifetime flyer and gets along well with clarke etc. Snider loves him, and always has thought he could be the real-deal

like Gagne, like Richards, like Carter, like Lindros

stop making those prediction, it will hurt you more in the future.

In these franchise we always have to be prepared for everything in any moment.....

Yesterday we are a contender, today we are a good team, tomorrow we are full of rookies.... who knows

but it is what it is
