Kuznetsov's interview

Interesting reading.

- Well over a year. I do not know, getting right to the base or not, but for next season are already planning to move there. Alex Ovechkin said he would help with the apartment at first. Let's wait a couple of months with him, then, of course, already take off his flat. I even looked on the internet already, how many apartments are there.

With Varly gone and, who knows, maybe Semin too, Ovie's going to want some more Russian buddies around. Perfect timing for Kuzy.

Just read it in Russian and English... Good Lord, Google translator sucks...

Cant wait for this guy, his enthusiasm and desire to play here is undeniable.
From translated version i didn't get a "feel" of what kind of guy he is, but reading the original i can honestly say this guy is gonna be money, lots of personality, jokes, pride (in a good way) and honesty.
To me, looks like he doesn't lack in work ethic department either, from what it said in the article, at this point he isn't even allowed to use the bike, but he sneaks out to train anyway...
Also, he is paying attention to right people (Fedorov) and right things (producing in PO's as 18 year old kid in the NHL). And the best news is his 2nd surgery was a complete success. The doctor in Germany achieved everything that he wanted/needed. Now its up to him to recuperate properly. Which with this kids drive should be achievable and on schedule.

Cant wait.

I like the fact that the caps have luxury of letting him develop more before he has to come over.

I didn't really believe that he wanted to stay in the KHL but it's still nice to get an assurance that he intends to come over.

@AlessandroRusso:

Thanks for posting the fully translated interview! It was so much more coherent than the previous one. I get giddy imagining this kid's future with the club.

In that vein, can you imagine how many heads would explode around the league and on HF if Kuznetsov joined the club next year AND Colorado's draft choice was in the top 5 of next years draft . Hilarity would ensue.
