Call me crazy but he may be last year's Pacioretty. Start in Hamilton, dominate, get called and establish himself game by game.

Who would have tought Plekanec would become a first line player after his first two years in hamilton? Palushaj does many things well just like Pleky doesnt have the same playmaking style but i wouldnt be surprise to see him dominate in hamilton this year, again he needs to bulk up tough, i see great NHL instincts in him...

Do you think Palushaj will play pre season for Montreal this year?

He should be one of the last cuts unless he really surprises management and they are forced to keep him.

How many points would have got Palushaj last year if he didn't play with Desharnais for some part of the season?

30? 35?

I thought Palushaj increased his point production more after Desharnais and Pacs came up.

It didn't hurt to play with the best player in the AHL at the time in Desharnais and the leading goal scorer in Pacioretty but he still ended up leading the Dogs in goals and points, tied for the team lead in assists with Desharnais (35 assists in 33 less games) I don't see why his production would be cut in half, he is a skilled player and creates his own chances for sure, he was among the Dogs best players in the last two playoffs and earned his way onto the top line this year. Granted when you play with the top scorers in the league I'm sure you could make a case for him having a few less points for sure if he didn't play with them but later in the year he once again formed one of the top lines in the AHL with Dawes and Boyd. (Dawes was just money around the net, really sucks to lose him as he converted a lot of Palushaj's feed's and made it look easy)

He struggled at first as he was battling some injuries, the Randy's even benched him for a couple games saying it wasn't the injury that he was 100% but wasn't moving his feet enough.

It said online that Palushaj will be #60. That mean if he make the NHL next year. He will be #60 because he old number 51 is taken by someone on the team.

Pally might surprise us all and be a 60 point guy next couple years, he's got sick offensive skills and some history with good players too.

Love this habs squad!

KIR!

Palushaj has a nice set of skills, he's got a nice shot, good stickhandling, and will play physical. Also he had 19 points in 19 playoff games this season.

I hope Palushaj makes it. Otherwise, the Blues will have gotten an NHL player (d'Agostini) for an AHL player.

On the top line/top minutes with stellar AHL players though. We'll see. The only problem is that he's physically weak, but this off-season is his chance to work on that.

Uh yea they have no place in the NHL, but they put up points in the minors. Do you prefer the term "busts" or what?

I didn't say it's bad, but people keep saying that he's top 6 bound or that he's ready. Definitely not top 6 and he's physically not ready yet.

He's still quite young, not saying he's about to have a 70 point season but he's definitely got top 6 potential. He's definitely not a bust.

Not good enough offensively to be on the 1st/2nd line and to weak defensively to be o the 3/4 th line ...

If Palushaj forces the clubs hand in bringing him up and then he sticks as a top 9 forward do you think if Andrei falters they'll deal him? I think they'd be even happier just keeping the depth for injuries.
