I know one topic I'll be bringing up at the STH meeting - fewer preseason games
Fewer games that don't matter = less risk of injury. Let them get in to game shape at the gym and at training camp.
I'm also going to ask that there be strong consideration given to NOT allow players to play in back to back games. JR played Sunday night and then turned right around and dressed for Monday. Of course, he probably asked to be placed into the lineup, knowing JR, but the coaching staff can set that rule in stone if they wanted.
I'd like to see the # of pre-season games reduced to 4-6. Other teams have fewer preseason games, and I'm sure this is one of the reasons for it. There's NO point having anything resembling a grueling pre-season schedule when the games are meaningless.
