Are the Osheaga e-tickets refundable? Can't find jack online.

If they're not refundable, well then make me an offer if you wanna see Eminem on Friday night. (General Admission, 2 Friday passes)

in flames and bodom are awesome would love to see both the same day that would be even better.

i'm from ottawa and went to montreal last night for Paul mccartney which was awesome.

pure amazing if you like the beatles. i like most genres and seeing a beatle alive is something i'll tell you that right now.

montreal is also a sweet city, everything just seemed to be right

Go back a few years to gigantour. Bodom and in flames, only bad part was that it was the bell centre. What a night that was. 'Only for the weak' had the entire audience in rhythm like i've never seen before.

its gonna hard to top this year (for my own personal opinion), they brought two of the oldest most kick-ass bands ever this year.
and the first edition with Iron Maiden, its hard to think of a better band to headline. slayer+megadeth hapenned too.
im guessing only Metallica could move a bigger mass of people, based on how they did in quebec city. Iron maiden already played in 2008. so yeah. options are thin for big headliners.

im dreaming of Kreator for 2012.

anybody know at what time on sunday cypress hill plays?

And how much does booze cost at Osheaga? I'm mostly a beer drinker but wouldn't say no to a few tequila shots :-)

Kid Cudi's not going to make it due to illness.

Kid Koala's replacing him.

2 artists I don't care much anyway. Move on.

Haha. I'm not going tonight cause I know it will be a **** show and I've already seen the artists I have an interest in so this is kind of funny. I know there were plenty of people that were only going for him and Eminem so I kinda feel bad for them because they won't be refunded. Unfortunately that's the risk you run when you go to a music festival for one or two artists. That's said, it's very unprofessional of Kid Cudi to cancel last minute like that. Not that I wish illness but let's hope he's actually sick and not just taking a break from touring cause it's pretty lame. Anyways, anyone have any recommendations for Saturday and Sunday? I kind of have an idea of who I want see but if there's a must see act in your opinions let me know.

Ya not a Crystal Castles fan at all. Definetly gonna catch Death Cab's set instead. Still haven't decided between Ratatat and Bright Eyes. Probably Bright Eyes given that it's possibly their last time in Montreal. Agree on the others but I'm kinda tempted to check out mstrkrft instead of the Flaming Lips. Don't know yet. A few personal favourites if you don't know who to check out early in the day would be Frightened Rabbit, Manchester Orchestra, Smith Westerns and the John Butler Trio. Also The Tragically Hip is definetly a must see.

It was awesome!!!! I had such a good time. This drunk chick kept trying to make out with me with my girlfriend sitting right next to me...It was pretty freaking awkward. And there was this group of 3-4 shirtless d-bags sitting on the hill, drunk out of their minds, picking fights with everyone, but otherwise it was amazing.

Yeah, great weekend.

But last year's headliners were lightyear's better (IMHO). Didn't bother seeing Eminem and Elvis Costello. Flaming Lips started reeeeeally strong but kinda lost the crowd at some point (my friends and I included), so we left.

Had a blast again at BSS. Got off my mind at Ratatat and Crystal Castles.

Cypress Hill was just greeeeeat !

****ed Up were chaotic as hell, it was amazing !

Got a bit disappointed by Death From Above 1979, but it was probably due by the fact we weren't in the front of the stage where we should've been.

Really enjoyed other noticeable ones like Malajube (not the best I've seen from them, but since they're one of my fav, I still enjoyed the moment), Passwords, Eels, Death Cab For Cutie (though I missed most of their show and only had 4-5 songs, but I knew them so I was happy), Kid Koala and Sam Roberts.

The one I WTFed the most: The Sounds. It was amazingly awful.

All in all, it was a fantastic weekend and now I'm left with nasty sunburns.

À l'année prochaine, Osheaga.
