I saw homeward bound with Kovalev in a Habs jersey and my heart stopped.

Not so good. Sort of like Engqvist.

Wow, some people on twitter are big haters, but would never say such things face2face.

P.S: Still not understanding why Sopel put Hooray Black and Gold after the Bruins won the Cup....

You saw Sopel's reply? Subban also admitted he was going for Boston.

The Sopel thing made me laugh, he's probably the worst kind of player for the KHL.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it...I'm glad he said it. Sopel, good luck in the KHL!

M.Lapierre misses MTL and the fans

I work at rousseau sports in st hubert, and today maxim lapierre came in and bought some street hockey goalie equipment (probably a present?). a side note, stephane robidas also came in and bought a helmet for his son and skates, it was very cool meeting them both. (they came separately not together), lapierre was with a smoking hot girl haha

anyways, I asked him how he liked the city of vancouver and the fact he came so close to a cup, and he said he loves the city, but the crowds in the arenas are nothing like at the bell center, he probably thought I was a mtl fan and was sucking up He's great friends with price and they still hang out sometimes, but the thing he seemed to miss the most was the attention in MTL.

Too bad he chose his own ego, over playing in Montreal.

What?! You didn't put your fingers near his mouth and suggested he bites?!

I liked Lappy and I thought he was smarter. He thinks he can be like Burrows. Grinder who can handle top 6 minutes. Except he isn't. Nice to know ya, Lappy.

Woulda loved to see Lapierre play for many more years with Montreal. He's a great fit in Vancouver and they'll win one or two cups during his contract.

One of the few ex-Habs I actually miss.

Wildly inconsistent during the regular season, but he's a guy who feeds off the crowd and the adoration. He has some more good playoff performances ahead of him.

Still just a 4th liner so I don't harp on it, just a personal favorite of mine.

Pretty much how I feel as well Bill. He'll always be there to score those huge goals when the team needs it most. Like in game 5 against Boston, obviously it didn't end up mattering but still huge.

Habs board at its best. He's no longer a Habs, he's the most hated man. Pretty sure that some people are actually amongst the ones who are booing our ex-players....

He didn't ask for a trade. He asked for a meeting to talk about his future and that since CLEARLY Martin demonstrated to him times and times again that he was not needed, well if it was the case, then moving him would be better.

Again, another player who was once decent who we actually waited till he wasn't worth anything to get....nothing. It's one thing to not be able to get the best out of a player. It's another to wait till he has the absolute worst value to then trade him. Yes, he was inconsistent. But I always thought he was valuable during a PK. Not the best PK player of this whole world, we know who it was..the great Tom Pyatt, but not a bad one either. What I don't miss is his trolling. We need less words and more action in this team.

This "Just a 4th liner" has to stop. This is not 2-minutes Brian McGrattan were talking about here. Our 4th liners could play 8 minutes a game AND some time on the PK. Every player is important on this Martin system. Even the 13th and 14th player based on how many injuries we have.

now that we don't have him anymore we could definately use him as our 4th line center with Moen and White on his wing for protection, i mean the guy can play he's gritty and fast as hell. I'd take him back
