This should be a no-brainer. Alex Plante. Unlike many prospects voted ahead of him, he actually played a few games in the NHL and showed that he can at least be a No.6-7 defenseman in the future.

he did? all i saw was penalties anyone came down on a rushing on him...and not even good players, the dude cannot skate at all

It's not like I have mammoth expectations for him, but I don't see how Olivier Roy has slipped this far down the list. I mean, his showing at the WJC's was less than impressive, but just making the Canadian team should put him ahead of a few of the guys who have already been placed.
