I'd take Labrie, if I could vote.
Size seems to be a concern but he has the right attitude to compete hard. An important characteristic that shouldn't be neglected. Also, Les and the scouts seem to have a high opinion of him.
With Benn going Center, we actually have a pretty big gap in our LW depth now. Neal and Benn effectively are removed from that position after one season, leaving us with only Morrow who's getting older. Unless we get a 2nd line Center, LW is a position of weakness now.
He's played 1 year as a center, and he was drafted as a RW. IDK why Brandon always had him listed at center, but several Brandon fans pointed out that he was Schenn's RW until last season. I don't see how he could be a natural center after a single year. That said, hopefully he can continue to develop as a center.
Regarding Loui, he has said he prefers LW. He'll eventually be a LW again assuming a Dallas prospect RW pans out. Between Chiasson, Vincour, and Ritchie, hopefully at least one will become a top line winger to play with Loui and possibly Benn assuming the center experiment (which is obviously going at least pretty well right now) is a success. I think Smith is listed as a RW, but for some reason I remember him playing LW when I was watching some of the games.
