Suprised to see Watson get so few votes even though I voted for Beck. Watson still has a high ceiling.

the comments about geoffrion to me illustrate the fallacy in ranking "prospects"

geoffrion has already proven he can play at the NHL level. to me that puts him above anyone who hasnt yet played here, no matter how much potential they have.

which is why I would argue that anyone who has played a significant amount of time with the big club isnt really a "prospect" any more, or at least there should be two seperate classes of "prospects".

So for me its Blum>Lindback>Geoffrion>/=Halischuk

then you can rank all the other kids who havent played here yet.

I rank them in order of "If I was starting a team from scratch and was doing a draft, what order would I pick them".

Bump. I know Weber overshadowed this, but its too close to call right now.

EDIT: I dont think many more than 51 will vote. Call it for Beck?
