Got tickets for the Cardinals game. First time in a few years I was able to get tickets when they go on sale.

Love the moves they are making. Brown, Page and Harris. Nice.

This team is shaping up well. I just wish we could somehow sign Tatupu now.

I saw elsewhere that one of Samuel/Jaqua Parker will get traded to open up capspace for depth signings and DeSean.

We have about $3.5 mill capspace currently, including Ronnie Brown but not the other 2 signed last night.

I really hope we hold onto Samuel and see how DRC plays this year. Samuel could get 15+ picks opposite of Nmamdi.

The Eagles made a contract offer to Randy Moss after the receiver filed his official retirement papers with the league, according to the Boston Herald.
The Eagles just won't stop. Moss' filing of his retirement papers isn't significant as he can unretire any time he wants. If he is truly intrigued by the Eagles' offer, there's a good chance it will still happen. And based on the way veterans are flocking to Philly to play with Mike Vick, we would no longer be surprised.

Apparently Patterson had a seizure at training camp today, all reports are saying he is doing fine now.

Good to hear he's fine.

As far as Samuel or Parker being traded, that would lessen our depth, but if the return is good I am for it. If we can't get a trade offer that blows us away we should keep them so long as we can resign Jackson.

Moss would be a decent pickup if he came cheap for one year. I think he would excel with Vick as our third receiver.

Definitely great to see he's ok, but we won't know if he's actually ok until test results come back. Hopefully there is no underlying brain condition.

As for Moss, I'd rather fill a need than get another receiver. Jackson, Macklin, Avant is one of the best top 3's in the league, so we should be fine at that position. We still need D line and LB help.

Yea I agree that we have better needs. Our D line is shaping up decently in my opinion, but I agree about the LBs. We definitely need 1 maybe 2.

SportsCenter yesterday said that many free agents were looking at the Eagles willing to take one year deals. Didn't catch the guys name and today they ranked our offseason acquisitions.

1. Asomugha
2. Brown
3. Harris
4. Rodgers-Cromartie
5. Jenkins

Glad to hear Patterson is alright. Seizures are a scary thing. A round of applause for Danny Watkins who jumped in to help the paramedics

I thought I heard somewhere that the Eagles had a little extra salary because of a carry over from last year. idk, maybe i'm wrong. i can't remember for the life of me where i heard this though.

They didn't include Babin I guess? And Brown is near the bottom of the list IMO.

If they can sign one veteran linebacker, then I'll be confident in saying this team is the favorite to win the Super Bowl.

I would have had Jenkins second; he's great against the run, can move outside and gives us size in the middle. Loved the Harris signing. If Jackson is healthy the line should be fine.

Who's available besides Morrison? Linebacker is out only glaring weakness; you can't be strong everywhere unfortunately.

What's the deal with Ben Leber? Is he a FA or a RFA?

Mike Patterson has something wrong with the blood vessels in his brain. It will require surgery or radiation.

That's not good, he is one of our better linemen.

Except he's declined in production each of the last three years, and has had knee issues. I'm a little leery of that trend line.

As scary as the idea of brain surgery is, if all goes well, recovery time isn't that long compared to torn ligament or other normal sports injury. That could be a very serious condition though if not corrected properly.

It all depends on the location. If it's on the periphery somewhere, recovery before season is feasible. If it's deep, he might not play again.

Apparently they are negotiating with Vick for a longer term deal which would lower the cap hit he has right now, that might be enough for Desean without having to trade Samuel.
