Oh no, I don't think I will be able to sleep tomorrow night knowing you'll be angry because I am confident that Richards is coming here.

Just because I'm extremely confident about this doesn't mean you have to listen or believe what I preach.

I can actually forsee that happening. Other than that I think Anisimov is going to have a great year. It just seems like the right time for him to put it all together.

I'm not. I'm just the guy sitting in the last pew in the back of the church, hoping that everything you're saying is legit.

Cause I'm saying a prayer.

Then please say a prayer for me because as confident I am, if I happen to be wrong I am going to be hearing a lot of **** for a LONG time.

I don't know if you can really call Callahan "breakout", but I still say he could burn some serious twine if he's healthy. 30+

I also think Stepan will have a Boyle-esque season where he'll be God in the first half and cool down in the second half. That's being said I wouldn't put 25 above Stepan's head. I'll say 26, 27 for Stepan. He'll be huge this year.

I see Stepan as a plateau player. I don't think he'll be a 40 guy but I see him reaching just under 30's neighborhood fairly quickly and staying there awhile.

I`m all with you on this one. In fact,I believe his good for at least 50 points in a top six role.
Unfortenaly,he has too high cap hit. I`m afraid this is gonna force him out of the starting team.
If thats the case,I hope they trade him to another team, instead of burying his cap in the minors.

Dubinsky will have a breakout year playing with Richards on various times. Torts will move the lines around. Dubinsky will play with Richards. Even strength and PP. 30 plus goals for Dubinsky.

Secondly, if I had to chose a player on our roster for a possible breakout season, the obvious choice would be McDonagh. He has terrific speed, tremendous balance and exceptional lower body strength. He is a stud who will be our best defenseman for years to come and I firmly believe that he will become one of the top defensive defensemen in the league in a few years once he gains additional experience. Watch his game closely for all the little things he does so effectively and you'll agree with my assessment of him.
He will become an all star for his performance on the ice and not because he's Eric and Jordan Staal's brother.
Could you explain that last point there. There are a lot of implications and none of them make sense except that you're obsessed with other teams players while constantly and incorrecting underselling your own teams.

Anyway to stay on point I also think McD. He's got strength and speed you can't teach easily and offense aside if he uses it to becoe an even better defenseman we're going to have two amazing shut down lines. Ok well if he pulls that off I guess it will be another year down the line so I guess the most likely choice is Artie.

He's saying Staal is overrated and the only reason he was an all-star (and probably the only reason he's considered a good defenseman) is because of his last name and his brothers.

I think that's all BS but it's nothing we haven't heard before.

If he can play adequate defense that would be fantastic.

I agree. He'll come to camp in great shape and be ready to play. I bet he'll have a good season.

I hope one of either Stepan or Anisimov can break out and provide 50+ points as a legit 2nd line center...

Would also love to see Del Zotto come back and do great and put up 40+ and help out the PP

Being in shape wasn't the issue last season. It was defensive positioning and low offensive output.

I think Anisimov takes that next step to the 50+ point plateau and I think Stepan puts up the same. There will be less pressure on them to score with Richards here.

Also, whoever mans the opposite point from Richards on the PP is going to have a break-out year. 35 points is not out of the question. Erixon? MDZ? Girardi? Staal?

I agree, here.

30g 40a 70p

Really feel Dubinsky can boom into an upper echelon player.

Zuccarello will blow your minds this year! after dominating in camp he will get an top6 role and pocket 68 points this season. 21+47.......

Im hoping for something like this:

Dubinsky-Anisimov-Zuccarello
Zuccarello-Anisimov-Callahan

And a pp looking something like this:

Richards ?

Zuccarello Gaborik

Callahan

why does everyone assume that Dubinsky will play with Gaborik and Richards. if it is broke dont fix it. leave the Pack line together.

i got a gut feeling that Fedotenko will be our first line LW. he knows how to play for Torts and Feds and Richards did play together for the Bolts.. although i can see Avery as an option since him and Gaborik did have some chemistry since Avery can skate when isnt going offsides..

for players from previous teams:

for forward....Prust i think he can get 15 goals this year.
for defense....Dan Girardi i think he will get at least 10 goals

for new players

forward...i think a player like Hagelin can make the team and have an impact
for defense..i think a kid like Valentenko will finally make it and surprise a few with some goals..

I agree with those saying Artem Anisimov will breakout this season, Hopefully he can get some playing time with Richards and pick up some skills. I'm pullin for Arty.
