Too many penalties.

Rangers will take a penalty three minutes into the game and give up a goal. It has happened in three straight games. They have to stop taking penalties. I want to see one game where the other team takes a penalty first.

Do you think the Rangers are the only team taking that amount of penalties? Pretty much every team is. Teams will learn soon enough when it starts costing them games in regular season.

It's going to happen and will continue to happen for several reasons; there are new rules, this group hasn't really played together and (hopefully) there is a number of young players who will make mistakes. Hopefully things will settle down as this group gets to know each other and where they are on the ice and as the kids gain experience.

It is a legitimate concern.

Besides too many penalties, it would also be nice if they didn't give up the first goal. They then have to play catch up hockey, and this puts them at a disadvantage, which causes more penalties, ect., ect. They will learn and hopefully settle down. At least they can win the shoot-out.
