What's your gfs career, there's a ton of jobs opening up lately because of all the mining expansions in the area.. That affects everyone as it creates jobs outside of the mines as well

You do know where Labrador is, right?

That huge chunk that's missing in the north-east part of Québec, that's Labrador. Labrador City is the biggest city of the area, along with Goose Bay, both with around 9k people. It's pretty darn close to Fermont, actually, just on the other side of the border. The whole territory has around 30k people. It's legally a part of Newfoundland.

Uh, yeah, well, yeah. I kind of feel stupid now but at the same time whatever. What's the point of naming an unhabited region anyway?

I'm up in Lab City about once or twice a month... I'll bet I work for the same company that is looking to hire you. Send me a PM with any questions you might have re: the town or company.

PS. At all the posters poking fun... I love Montreal and everything but get off your high horse. Most Montrealers are very ignorant/narrow-minded about regions north of Quebec City and apparently quite happy to put their narrow-mindedness on full display in the thread.

I shipped some Sears ads out there at work yesterday. You will probably get them from me. I am your source of news on sales at Sears.

That's a blatant generalization for someone preaching open-mindedness. You have to agree that "Labrador City" sounds straight out of South Park or something (you know, Canada has one city, one bank, one of everything and it's all called "of Canada").

I have to agree that the "why name a place where no one lives" comment was lame, but that's just one guy.

Kid cracks under fake interrogation

Take the money and Run.

Did anybody watch this show? What a waste of my time. That is a hour I will never get back. I can't believe the kid confessed to fake pressure and told them exactly where the case was.

This show needs to be canceled, I mean seriously, that was one of the most painful things I ever sat through.

Hopefully I'm posting this in the proper thread, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me, first off, what bracelet all the athletes are wearing? For example, you can see Cole wearing one in the new ask a Hab video:
http://video.canadiens.nhl.com/video...id=DL|MTL|home

I'd like to find out, so that I can see what it's all about.

Thanks peeps

Are other habs players/other athletes wearing them? 'cause it looks like one of those rubber watches from dollar stores.they're small and made of rubber so maybe its convenient as a player?

48 hours in jail is rough, plays with your mind. Psych 101 man. I know you're supremely confident you'd do better.

I have one, it's called a PowerBalance bracelet. I got it as a present from my cousin in the Philippines (there's a good chance mine is fake )

Sadly enough don't waste your money on it, it's a scam http://gizmodo.com/5723577/powerbala...nds-are-a-scam

I will say though, I reached my goal of 200+lb squats wearing the bracelet.
i had to stop wearing mine because the plastic over the holograms were coming off and I've procrastinated superglueing them back on.

I disagree that 48 hrs under fake interrogations would we one bit tough. You're not being charged with anything and everything is made up. There is no risk of punishment or anything, you just have to make it 2 lousy days, it was a sign of someone with extremely weak willpower or a show that was fixed.

Computer virus

Hi all,

Need help here,

I got a virus on a laptop and it's called security protection which is a fake antivirus and it keeps scanning the computer telling you the computer is infected and you have to purchase the program to be able to get rid of the viruses.

How do I get rid of the virus itself ? I googled some solutions and they all say to download some programs or malwarebytes to be able to remove the virus. But I am not sure if these programs are trustful.

Can mod please leave the thread for a few days.

Thanks all.

If you dn't want to pay for the anti virus thing you can always get it the other way if you know what I mean or you can reformat your computer and it will be like brand new. Just save all your important stuff on a usb.
