As I see it, the best way to get back for now is a bases loaded hit... and remember this for later.

... No instigator rule in MLB, huh.

I can't believe that pitch right after the resumed... had to be a mistake.

Think Chase was telling ump otherwise.

They're ****ing *******. After Worley comes out, send Herndon in for one pitch to drill Cody Ross. There needs to be some payback, I'd like it to happen tonight but it better happen at some point this weekend.

Herndon would surely miss.

The real ******* was whiteside who was bouncing around like he just heard the bell for the 7th round then tried to tackle Polly.

I'll take him getting drilled in one of the next couple games.

At first, when he looked to be protecting his pitcher, I was fine with it... but then he forgets his pitcher and attacks Polly, who I don't see as really making all that much an effort to do anything. What a clown.

Why do I feel Pence is going to have some big numbers with the Phillies the next couple years?

Chances that jersey is a fake? Probably should have asked before I bought it but oh well. Every fake MLB jersey i've seen has the size/coolbase/authentic tag on the bottom right stiched on but this one has it screenprinted on like normal. Numbers look normal. So I hope it's real.

He doesn't make a hell of a lot, number-wise... but a real good one each season so far.

And his little late after July ones haven't been too shabby either IIRC.

Assuming that image is what you get, the Phillies on chest looks legit to me... Seller has 100% rating with over 8K sales... Looks on the up and up -- I have that exact jersey in the pre-WS version BTW -- and for that price on eBay, it better not be a fake.

I really hope Shane doesn't sit for too long for a suspension that I assume is looming. He's been so good at the plate lately. The game itself outside the tussling was excellent. Charlie just seems to have a feel of who to put in. JMJ plays 1B instead of Howard and he had a hell of a game.

As for the jersey, it looks legit to me. Definitely looks like something they would've worn on day games in 2009. The only thing missing would be the HK patch, but I don't know if they were added to jerseys sold to the public.
E: Actually I'm pretty sure they didn't. Just remembered my Cliff Lee jersey is from 2009 and is sans patch and is authentic.

Granted Shane needed to keep himself under control in that situation, but they threw at him for no reason. He doesn't show up opposing pitchers, and it wasn't in retaliation for anything.

Yeah the patches are a dead giveaway if the jerseys are fake. My Hamels jersey that I got from the game-used stand from the 2009 World Series has a HK patch but no other jerseys have it. The more I look at it I know it's real. Whether I get the jersey in that picture is something different. Guy says I'll get it Monday or Tuesday so it's not coming from Asia or anything. Like my chances.

Had to go to sleep around the 6th because I had to work today. And of course I miss a fight.

You missed a pathetic gathering of grown men who didn't do anything. I hate baseball brawls. Nobody is really about doing anything, just a bunch of posturing. You just sprinted out on the field, hit somebody damn it.

Yeah, but have you seen the cast's peripherals? Their ANARs (award nominations above replacement) are great.
