Hey, was just wondering if you guys feel if Visnovsky is a #1 D-man? Is he good defensively?
#1 caliber guy, yes. It's a little hard to call him a really good #1, though, because he has often been injured when played that much. So his average time per game is of a #1, but his season minutes played is often less.
BTW, are you originally from SoCal or are you an Aussie who just happens to like the Ducks? I'm sure you've been asked that numerous times.
Wow they got from South Perth to North Dandalup? That's a good 80-90 km out of Perth, that's crazy, didn't hear anything about it on the news haha
Not from SoCal, been once like 10 years ago, but Ducks were the first team I watched, and just stuck with them. I'm like Aussie/German, lived in Germany for a while after I was born and then moved to Perth. Part English as well

He was our #1 and did great in that role. Definitly not the greatest defensively but his defense is underrated by other fanbases. Dude is just an awesome player.

Well they brought her brother with her and they are really close... she misses him. Her name is jade and she's gotta be the cutest shepherd I've ever seen. We talked to the foster family (they're keeping her brother) and we are going to set up play dates for them so they can see each other.

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't think that everybody needs to fawn all over Etem. Some of the guys in that thread have legit arguments for or against Etem. I just would expect a better argument than people saying "Never liked Etem and never will".

Actually you can see some similarities with both guys. (ofcourse there`s also differences).

Kreider will produce more because he won't have Palmieri holding him back any more. Etem, OTH, might well have Palmieri on his wing. And that will kill his production, just like how Palmieri held Kreider back in the WJCs.
