Third. After reading the story about him and his dad, I'll never stop wishing the best for him most likely.

Still love the trade though. I was upset with it at the time but to get WIlliams for what has turned into a 2nd and basically a minor leaguer is pretty sweet.

I was a big fan of the kid when he was here. I hope he can finally put his game together and find success in the desert!

I've always had a soft spot for Sully. The kid's got great hands and quick feet. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him put up 20+ goals once he can put it all together.

Wish him nothing but the very best!

Go Patty O! Interesting that Phoenix bought him out a year ago and are taking a shot on him this year. Maybe Tippet will help him get his groove back. He looked like he was well on his way to being an NHLer when he was here.

Would have really liked to see LA sign him. Worst case scenario his scoring would have helped out in Manchester this season.

Good Luck POS...

Like most of you guys I always liked Patty Ogg as well, all the best to him, as I am amazed he has had such trouble staying on one team and healthy. Hope this season is a good one for him!

That was Edmonton that bought him out.

EDIT: Phoenix did buy him out, but it was a salary dump as Phoenix sent Jim Vandermeer to Edmonton for O'Sullivan and then bought him out. They were planning on buying out Vandermeer, so it saved them money to buy out O'Sullivan instead.

Would you really want POS in Manchester this season? The Kings are trying to build a hard working and winning culture throughout their origination, not sure POS fits either of those traits. Not sure I want a guy going to his 5th team in 4 years, not including 36 games with the Houston Areos last year in a locker room in LA or Manchester.

I do wish him the best of luck, just not fired up as some to have him on the team I support.

I wish him all the best with the Coyotes and I would love nothing more than for him to light it up this season. However, his time with the Kings is long past. He can't just come back, looking at all the success the Kings have had without him. Especially when he was nearly as successful as players like Kopitar and Brown. I, and surely others, figured you would become our second line center/wing. Unfortunately, that isn't how it all worked out.

Best of luck in Phoenix, Patty O.

If POS ever wants to see an NHL rink on a regular basis again in his career, those are the very things he will be working the hardest on. So yes, I think he' be great in Manchester.

Just because he needs to work on those things doesn't mean he will. I'd rather keep him as far away from Manchester as possible.

I would much rather let the Portland Pirates figure it out BEFORE I even consider letting him get close to a Manchester locker room.

I would welcome Sully to our organization with open arms.

Hopefully, being away from the kings has helped him regroup and figure things out.

Low risk, high reward is how I look at it.

Huh? The dude clearly HAS NOT figured it out since he left the Kings. There is no plausible reason to bring him back into the organization.

I should have said ever since he's been out of the nhl.

The guy's got skills, I'd give him another shot.

The guy's running out of chances. To get a 2-way 1- year contract says just that. He's just another player who can't hack it in the big leagues. BFD.
