Watch LIVE NHL Games Online!?

I'm heading off to college next week and will need to watch the Hawks' games on my laptop while at school. I know there's places like justintv and what not where you can watch for free but sometimes the streaming isnt always good. Is there some package or something out there that I can pay monthly or something to watch all Hawks games online this season like nhl.com or anything? Anyone know?
Appreciate any help!

myp2p.eu has links for every game during the season, it's free.

NHL Game Centre is awesome, just make sure you have a good internet connection.

I tried the free streaming sites last year at college and it made me pretty miserable... Sometimes the streams would delay a little and I would read my twitter whilst watching the games and my twitter would update and tell me who scored before it happened haha...

Definately gonna make the investment in Gamecenter next year.

For Sabres fans there is this one guy that streams every Sabres game in hi-quality for free on Justin.tv

Does anyone have the blackout map for Gamecenter?
Or is it just that if you are able to get the station that covers your team, you cannot watch them over Gamecenter?

Don't read your twitter at the same time then?

I had NHL GameCenter when I subscribed to CI and it's pretty good. I would stream the games during my night classes and there would be really no lag at all. It's good quality as long as you have a decent internet connection and a decent computer. It was worth it for me (considering it came with CI) but I'm not sure I would pay that much for it as a single service.

You can only watch Hawks games if you are out of their TV zone, just so you know.

you get the home and away broadcast feed on every game that isn't available on television in your area. ie. Canadians can't see HNIC, TSN, TSN2 or their local sportsnet game.

Okay good deal. I'm moving out of IL so sounds like I should be in good shape to pick up the Hawks games!

if you're in the chicago area just get a slingbox. its a much better investment (one time purchase, cheaper in the longrun), and you will be able to watch all of your other local teams and local television.

i got one 4 years ago to watch the isles/giants/mets when i was at school...only regret is that i didn't get a HD one.

as said before. myp2p.eu (nhl section) has daily compiled lists of all the online streams of each game. i'm in university and that's how i watch all of my games.

The downside to gamecenter is of course u have to spend a whack of money for it in addition to the streams being 1-2 minutes behind live play.

Yes, I think so. I don't have it, but I've used it once (didn't know it wasn't free at the time).

Only on Bell I believe, and you need their Mobile TV package for $5/month, not sure how good it is. If you and Android phone you could watch it directly from your browser on the NHL.com website.

Basically if you're in the US and the game is on local TV in your local market you're SOL (exception if your cable system is Cox you can now watch tv online via Cox). Same goes for games on NBC. The Gamecenter blackout rules asinine and archaic. I understand why the blackout rules exist but they don't make sense in the internet age. This has to change to curb piracy.

In Canada, if the game is on HNIC nationally its blacked out on Gamecenter....but you can watch the games online (live and archived) via CBC's website. TSN is the same as NBC rules. Sportsnet follows local blackout rules in the US.
