I'm following a thread on a Junior A forum and there is discussion about the current tryouts for the various BC Major Midget teams and how the "Dub" may pay teams for selecting "drafted players" onto their squads...can this be true?
Wouldn't be shocked at all. I know many teams make promises to 15-16 year old players in regards to roles and amounts of playing time etc so money wouldn't be shocking.
