It's only speculation, but a guy like Bernier was probably hoping for a one-way deal in the first two weeks of July. Also, Montreal couldn't wait too long if they wanted to add a quality veteran to Hamilton's lineup.

However, Montreal still has room for a spare forward so I wouldn't be surprised to see Bernier being invited to Montreal's training camp.

I really hope it happens, it's a low risk high reward move imo.

Bernier has poor hockey IQ, forget it about the reward thing, this kid's NHL carreer will probably end soon.. Bernier is definitely not an option when you have Palushaj in your system.. You will have to find better..

Bernier on a two way or as a camp tryout is a no-brainer IMO.

back during the bulldogs-barons series i forget what game it was i have the tickets upstairs from the game but the fans who were in attendance that night were told by the PA Announcer that from the bulldogs marketing staff whom ever was in attendance that keep there ticket from that night gets to attend the bulldogs home opener for free
