So here is my yahoo keeper team. I took them over midway last year and went through some major changes and deals to bring them to what they are. My team was dead last when I got a hold of them.
Standard scoring system - g, a, p, ppp, shp, +/-, pim
C - Kesler, Roy, Weiss, Johansson, Anisimov
LW - Ovechkin, Cammalleri, Perron, Malone
RW - Kessel, Backes, Horton, Erat
D - Timonen, Myers, Wideman, Hamrlik, Mcquaid, Peckham
G - Miller, Hiller, Markstrom, Lehner
Unfortunately with yahoo keepers there is no standard prospect system. Your player is on your bench or he is a free agent. So I have the option of taking RNH 1st overall but he might not even play this year and will simply take up a bench spot hurting my team.
Working on a deal for Stamkos. Deal involves; Johansson, Anisimov, Perron, Backes, Myers and Markstrom.
Johansson, Anisimov, Perron, Backes, Myers and Markstrom
I'd pull the trigger everytime.
Markstrom and Johansson may not make the team
Amnisimov, if at C, is looking like the #3
Perron, I like, but who knows where his production will be.
Which leaves the deal at Myers and Backes for Stamkos...
Myers should have a good 40+ year, and I can see Backes having a 30-30-100PIM year... but points wise, Stamkos could beat both combined, and only take up one spot. Sure you lose the PIMS.. but with the open spot, pick up a free agent banger for nothing.. I'm sure Brad Staubitz is available
Johansson should be a 2nd line center this year.. but won't be more than a 50pt guy.
That's what I am thinking. He played quite a bit of time with Ovechkin last year and saw some pp time too. He was one of the better fantasy players down the stretch last year. i'm hoping that he continues where he left off...
