lets try and get a little discussion here too. I picked McCollum because while he has struggled thus far in the pros, he is a goalie and goalies are both inconsistent when young and take a while to develop. Jimmy Howard is a classic case. McCollum has all the physical tools. I place him above Mrazek because while both have done well at the junior level, McCollum has both size and skill on his side which give him the far better upside. Whether he reaches it or not we will find out, but it is difficult to write off a goalie prospect at this point in his career

Went with Aubry, seems like he may not be the most dynamic offensive player but has a good skill set and size that can translate to the pro game, probably the type of guy who'll need 3 years in GR though

I'll probably go with Mrazek next but it looks like he's gonna win this one.

Add trevor parkes

I went with Andersson. He'll likely be on the Wings next season. Babcock says he's an NHL player and his profile at RWC has comparisons to Hank, Mule and Sammy Pahlson. He will not have the offensive production of Mule and Z but he's exactly what people say they want to see in the lineup, ie a big guy who is thick and is comfortable using his size as far as physical play goes.

At the other end of the spectrum add Ben Marshall.

Doubtful, Tatar will be up next season and Joakim will spend a 3rd in the AHL. Anyway unless he improves his skating considerably, I doubt he makes the Wings. Helm, Sheahan and Aubry are all future bottom 6 centres, I don't see where Andersson fits.

How can Aubry be tied at 11 for 12th best prospect and yet in this one Mrazek looks to be comfortably on his way to winning?

Is Joakim out of options next year. His draft year was 2007. If he is out of options do you think he will clear and be sent back down.

Andersson can be a kopckey clone, though I'm not sure he has Kopecky's hands.

There was a time when I didn't think Kopecky had Kopecky's hands .

Anyways, went with Aubry. May or may not have the offensive upside, but he is big, can skate well, and possesses a solid two way game. He could be a Jordan Staal lite type of player if it all comes together.

Aubry hasnt shown anything to be ahead of Callahan at this point, especially given how much Callahan improves yearly.

I feel like Oulette should be voted in by now but noone knows about him?

Apparently Ouellet is the next captain of the Montreal Juniors. Congrats to him, but I guess some prospects aren't getting their due because people haven't seen them play or just don't know enough about them.

When theyre freshly drafted noone really has an opinion on them yet I guess or a year of tracking their progress. I think Oulette and Sproul are gonna be big, maybe even both make the world junior team a year from now

I think Callahan will be playing for the wings before anyone else on this list & maybe before a number of those voted in. His skills translate well to the nhl & he improves every year. add lashoff
