Most likely not a NYR player. Could just be a training center staffer, a friend, etc. This time of the year, you get random people jumping on the ice during the informal sessions.

Anyways, it is me, or does he always pick patterns that make his pads seem taller than they are? Considering the flack he gets, you think he would go the other way with that.
From who? 15 Devils fans on a message board he's never heard of?

I'm sure he's got more important things on his mind.

Not that in love with the blue pattern, but the white base pads are sexy.

Um, no NHL player pays for their sticks/pads/other equipment.

Money has zero consideration as to whether a player keeps the same pads or gets new ones.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't really notice a difference year to year. Nor do I stare at Hanks pads regularly while watching games. Except if he's to stop the puck with those pads....

Maybe it's a goalie thing..those goalies are all nuts..

Dude it was a joke. Obviously they don't pay for their gear. They get payed to wear their gear. It was a joking answer to someone who asked why Hank changes his pads all the time while other goalies don't.

Those were the exact one's everyone thought were going to be what he was going to wear.

Same type and everything but the middle ending up being blue.

Those blue ones are disgusting.

The white base is decent. Not great, but decent.

Oh ok, sorry, I get used to seeing so many stupid comments (where people are serious...) I start taking the jokes seriously too

Not a fan of any Bauer goalie gear. I think the quality and design of Vaughn, TPS, and Sherwood blow them out of the water. CCM and Koho used to be good before being rebranded under Nike Bauer and Reebok.

Well, Hank is a fan of Bauer, so as long as he is a fan, I'm a fan.

Is it just me, or are all designs on goalie pads ugly? It just seems that I hate everyone's pads.

I'm not a fan either. I'm a sucker for the old plain white pads.
