well considering Wolski is for some reason ont he first line I guess Dubinsky is the obvious choice. You want to talk about balance and chemistry, it's gonna make the first line a lot easier to stop if it's that soft.

Seriously don't know why WW gets first line minutes over the far superior Brandon Dubinsky. Makes no sense. James Neal is not a playmaker and plays nothing like WW. Loui Eriksson plays nothing like Marion Gaborik for that matter.

yea I explained I went with Dubi as the #1 LW cause he is the better player but regardless Dubi gets the nod here and its pretty obvious we are going to vote the 2nd line as Dubi, Anisimov, Callahan.

Although its a toss up again 2nd line C with AA and Stepan.

I don't think there's going to be a clear cut 1st and 2nd line, especially since the "Pack Line" was our most productive and most steady line last year, and they were considered the 2nd line due to the fact that Gaborik is synonymous with "first liner".

I'm sure we'll see Richards centering Duby and Cally at some point.

i think why people picked WW over dubi is that everyone assumes that the dubi/aa/cally line will stay intact this season.

I can't vote Dubi second because there is no way that Wolski is better than him, or should he even be considered a 1st line player. I actualy voted for Feds. IMO he's among the most underrated players on the team and I think he way better than Wolski.

1) Dubi
2) Feds
3) Wolski
4) Avery

I mostly agree with everyone that Dubi is the better player i picked Avery for top line mostly because i love the Pack line and would like to see it together. Went with Dubi for line 2

I picked WW over Dubi because the line that Richards centers has to score for this team to succeed. And as much as I like Dubi's total game he butchers as many scoring chances as he turns into good SOG. Wolski has a better offensive skill set and it he plays the game the right way will give this line a better chance of scoring consistently which is needed. If Wolski fails then I think you'll see Aves or Feds on that first line as Torts will likely want to keep the Pack line together.

That's what's frustrating about Brandon, he does everything to give you the appearance that a prime scoring opportunity is about to happen and then too often makes a bad decision or a poor play with the puck. If we are going to be contenders he needs to be a 2nd/3rd line player IMHO.

Gaborik won by a 100%. I would think Callahan would give him a good run this year.

I agree 100%. My money's on Dubi taking the spot when all is said and done. Frankly I don't even think WW's offensive skillset is that much better than Dubi's, and when you consider the other elements of the game it's a no-brainer.

WW gets the nod for first line duties because a lot of us prefer to keep the Pack Line together

I made the mistake of putting up a vote for Richards, which was a landslide until people voted for Kris Newbury. I didn't bother putting up votes for Hank, Biron, and Gabby after that because they wer obvious choices. Just decided to skip those and move to the second line.
