I wonder if the progress you make in Be a Pro will carry over from the demo to the actual game, once a copy is bought.

Nope but progress if you get the season ticket will carry over once the game is out

Another stupid gimmick that EA came out with to leech more money out of any sucker willing to give it to them. You pay something like 25$ and you get access to their sports games 3 days before launch date.

Google is your friend, brah.

Yeah, I'll just play the demo for free. I had fun with the demo last year.

I did too. I actually think the demo was better than what they turned the game into with tuners. The D wasn't as herp derp and regular wristshots could actually beat the goalie

I found the demo challenging for once. I couldn't do the cross crease, and the AI felt smarter. Dunno what happened after, maybe I just learned the tricks to beat the AI, but the game was a cakewalk afterwards. (Obviously on All Star mode its different from Super Star).

Atleast you won't have to hear me ***** about it for the next year. I already feel bad for my team. I wonder how many times they'll be able to put up with my ' I didn't even WANT to cross check the goalie in the throat! wtf!' tirades.

I've already started duct taping foam to my controller for fear of breaking another in half. One of us needs to make friends with an EA employee and keep him around during games.

I would even venture to say that this Season Ticket thing is actually 100% worth it, for some people...

You forgot to mention the most important thing about the Season Ticket. You also get 20% off every DLC for all of those games too. If you're someone like myself who buys Boost Packs when the game comes out for my EASHL guy then this will almost pay for itself right there with the 20% savings.

Also you get 20% off if you are a person who buys any HUT packs, etc. Not to mention it's 20% off all FIFA, Madden, NCAA and Tiger stuff too.

If you buy your boosts or play HUT or play more than just NHL then IMO Season Ticket is worth it...

Although I agree with what you're saying about how they absolutely RUINED the game with tuners (NHL 11 straight out of the box in September was PHENOMINAL!!), the reason the D wasn't herp derp and that wristers could beat goalies is they usually put the Demo on "Rookie" or "Pro" difficulty setting which even you can score with some regularity

I try to pretend people who need to buy boost packs don't exist. It helps to preserve what little faith in humanity i have left.
