I wish to begin once again by apologizing for the length of time that has passed since my last update. It has not been time spent idly, believe me.
There has been progress made towards getting the forums back up, and we're hoping to have this finished and be back in operation within a week at a half.
There are some reasons for the delay however. First, we have had to set up a new hosting account for the forums, as our previous one had usage limits that were no longer high enough to ensure the smooth running of the forums.
Secondly, International Hockey Online LLC (the group that owns the International Hockey Forums) had some internal issues that needed to be dealt with before we were able to proceed with the change in hosting account. These issues are what has led to the long delay since the forums were taken offline. These issues have now been resolved, and we are devoting all our efforts towards returning to full operation.
There will still be some time needed to set up on the new hosting server, and we ask for your continued patience as we do this. We want to make sure that there will be no technical glitches once we're back in action.
I'll send another notice out once the forums are up and running, and we'll post a notice at that time for everyone to read explaining the situation.
Until then, the NHL playoffs continue, the 16 nations continue to prepare for the IIHF World Championship, and the nations in the southern hemisphere are looking forward to their coming winter and hockey, so enjoy this time!

Just to provide everyone an update on the current problems with our website. Our host, Midphase, is currently undergoing a Denial of Service attack on the server that we are hosted on. Until this is resolved, it will not be possible to access our forums. At present, we still don't have an ETA on how long this will be. We will announce here once it is back up and running. Is anybody having trouble connecting? Everything I try I keep getting a long loading screen then the "Problem loading page" screen. I tried my connection but everything works just fine.
