I like the idea of Boyle-Stepan-Zuccarello for our third
Feds-Rupp-Prust as our fourth.

Avery and Christensen as extras

What was our third line last year? Was it Avery - Stepan - Fedotenko?

Would've said Hagelin, but since we signed Fedotenko, he is the 3rd line LWer whether we like it or not.

Rusky Fedotenko.

Brings a solid chippy and defensive veteran presence to a line likely otherwise populated by young kids (Stepan, Zuccarello, Thomas?)

Unless Hagelin wins a spot, or Avery takes LW forcing Feds to right, I think this is Fedotenko's.

I voted Boyle. I love Feds, but if Boyle does anywhere near what he did last year then he's better than Feds.

Feds has a good amount of chemistry with Stepan, the most probable 3rd line C. I think Feds-Stepan-Zucc/CT/Avery would be the best 3rd line option. Feds brings grit and a good amount of skill.

Went with Feds because I want a Feds-Stepan-Boyle line.

Yes, I think Boyle can be effective on the RW

What are you going off of? Feds played almost all of last season with Boyle and Prust.

Early on ans some short stints. When Feds was killing penalties with Stepan instead of Anisimov, both players seemed dangerous together.

This. I still went with hagelin. I know fedotenko generally plays the LW but i wish we could see a 3rd line of Hagelin-Stepan-Fedotenko.

Feds.

Although I think Rupp will get time here as well.

I am cool with Feds here but for the records Boyle is a winger on the 3rd line whether it be LW or RW. Feds can also play RW. Steps the C

voted Hagelin, but will probably be fedotenko or avery. Really depends how much they want to keep a line of fed-boyle-prust together

I'm hardly ready to label Feds and Stepan as guys that have good chemistry because they "seemed" dangerous in a penalty killing situation

Feds is a good player. He's the kind of guy I want on Stepan's wing to help him develop before he gets a permanent spot in the top 6. Good aggressive forechecker, good on the boards, and a good influence. The offense is limited but Stepan/the RWer should make up for that, and Feds is very good at most other aspects that Stepan isn't yet.

I'd personally do Feds-Stepan-MZA here. Feds-Stepan-Thomas if he somehow has a ridiculous camp.

if Avery was gone I would agree with that line and say Boyle will be 4th line C but because I don't think Avery is a goner I see Boyle on the wing with Rupp as the 4th line C with Avery and Prust on his wings.

Hagelin and MZA are the wild cards in camp as they could bump Avery to the spare spot or waivers. at this point EC is the spare

Awards:
Fedotenko or Avery.

I've been one of Hagelin's biggest proponents since we drafted him, but let's see the kid in camp before we pencil him into the lineup.

Want to see Hagelin here. Would love a kid line with either MZA or CT on the other wing. Hagelin is a standout defensively and if it's CT the speed on the wings would be awesome. I like Feds but I was hoping we wouldn't sign him just to open up spots. I expect the 4th line to be Rupp-Prust and either Boyle or Feds. Avery and Christensen are dependent on whether any kids make a great impression.
