Still, to attach the word Boston at the Bell ... I rather eat plastic burgers... err, make that, less plasticy burgers (pretty sure the burgers at Boston are pretty plastic).
Ironically it would keep the name "Boston Pizza" even at the Bell but in Boston of all places it has a different name apparently

It's pretty sad when you can throw together a better poutine at home without even trying than a lot of places.

Thanks for the 101...
I'll give Cage an extra star now because they know how to make rice.
I shall never take rice for granted.... in fact, I think I owe rice an apology. I'll go a chinese Buffet next week and eat only rice and nothing else, as a token for it's appreciation, and the chefs who prepare it.

neoflury, I would laugh my ass off if they replace the Cage with Boston Pizza without changing the name...

Either they're renovating or La Cage aux sports pulled out because the Canadiens were charging them too much for rent. In that case I'm sure the Canadiens will operate a sports bar for themselves in there. The place was packed all the time and way overpriced, there's definitely a way to make money with it.
If true, perhaps the Habs organization want to put there their own restaurant and why not start a new ''official" line of sports bars that could be nice marketing.

And if the Habs score 5 goals you get 8 of the habs official wings!

Nice! What's with Boston Pizza, anyway? That's like Kansas City Seafood or Los Angeles BBQ.
I have to tell you that I have real fond memories of the Cage in the West Island circa 1992-1993. Their food back them was prepared fresh (fresh cut fries), they had kickass blue cheese sauce, their onion bricks were amazing. Their Cage Burger was huge and game with all the fixins. They had that Bar trivia game where you competed with bars from all over North America. Wait staff was great, crowds were lively.
I went to the one in Chateauguy a few years back to watch a playoff game. Pity how far they've fallen in EVERY aspect of their restaurant. Always happens though when you want to become a brand.
