dont put too much trust into those stats

This. I always liked him when he was playing for Saguenéens, but did not follow him much after the trade to Rouyn. But, as a prospect, I can hardly see him being signed even though he is an interesting player to develop. I see him being an ECHL/AHL netminder, he's too small for NHL IMO

Oh great he'll get a shutout and the players will go into scoring slumps

A lot of times these are the sleeper goalies, as they play on bad teams and have bad stats. But, they get way more development than the goalies on the stacked teams as they see more rubber and more play in their own zone, putting them ahead of the curve in learning, but hurting them statistically.

In addition to Dodero, the Wolves have three other returning defencemen with NHL connections — Justin Sefton is drafted by the San Jose Sharks, Frank Corrado is drafted by the Vancouver Canucks, and Josh McFadden has been invited to the Montreal Canadiens main camp.

Not sure if it was mentioned before but Josh McFadden was invited to Habs main camp.

Ummm...article says Bruins?
Edit.... Yes... didn't read... I'm mentally challenged.
It's just that I feel dirty every time I hear the word Bruins

This is not the first time I ear his name in connection with the Habs....If I'm not mistaking, he had a slow start but finished the season strong with his points coming mostly on the PP.

He was at the July development camp, that's why the name rings a bell.

I'm more intrigued by McFadden than by some of the guys we actually drafted. Really seems like a kid worth taking a longer look at.

Roy's 5.55GAA was 5th in the league, after 3.75, 4.00, 4.70 and 5.11
Roy's 4.44GAA was 2nd, after 4.14
And Roy's 6.26GAA as a rookie was 3rd, after 3.12 and 5.93

The QMJHL was insane, and is still a high scoring league.

1984-85 QMJHL Season Stats. 21 players over 90 points, including 11 over 120 points:

21. Benoit Hogue (C/D) Saint-Jean Castors 63 46 44 90 1.43 92
Just saying, throwing around Roy's stats doesn't prove or disprove anything. Even if they weren't 3 decades old

Mcfadden is definitely interesting. I had my eye on kichton too for a similar style of player.

I hope we keep McFadden, could turn into a decent player. I mean he was 1st in scoring and beat out Marcus Foligno who I think will turn into a great NHL player.

Huh?

You seriously think Marcus Foligno will turn into a great NHLer?

He's not even a lock to make the NHL let alone be an NHL great. He projects as a 3rd liner, if everything goes well he could be a Lucic type who brings a physical element and can can play top 6 with skilled linemates and occasionally pot 20.
