A very interesting read. Can't say I disapprove of what he is saying. We, indeed, lack a gamebreaking forward, but we have a lot of them.

And we have 2 gamebreaking D-men, which is just plain great. Maybe we are a trade away from being serious contenders?

Unfortunately...

Martin does not use benchings and benching threats well. He tends to destroy players instead of building them up. The extra depth may not be a good thing.

Its easier to shuffle a 7-card deck than a 5-card deck. JM will be able to bench or rotate players without ruining the whole top-6 now.
