I want Rupp winning faceoffs, so put Boyle on LW.

Yes, one of our weaknesses last year was winning face-offs. Rupp and Boyle will probably alternate throughout games with Torts. We need Anisimov and Steps to get better in the circle. Don't know how good Brad is at winning face-offs.

If they do indeed go with these lines did Dubinsky not play LW but take faceofffs for AA.........same thing can happen here with Rupp on wing but taking faceoffs

Or, he can just take faceoffs and move back to wing afterwards, as Dubinsky does at times.

Boyle is the much better center. He is more defensively responsible than Rupp.

Same.
This is a very deep lineup... only a few pieces away from being an extreme force.

Brian Boyle, do you have faith in Wojtek Wolski?

EDIT: Voted for Rupp.

Yeah and that's probably what will happen. Artie's my favorite player on the rangers, and I hope he continues to improve every aspect of the game, but right now he's awful at face-offs. 44.5 % Last Year. Not good enough for such a good defensive forward.

Boyle broke out last year as a center and scored 21 goals, I wouldn't change him to LW and throw him off. Rupp is a vet and I'm sure can adapt and play either wing if needed(most likely LW).

Rupp played mainly LW with the Pens. However, having another player on the line who can take a face-off allows the current center to cheat a little bit more because if he gets thrown out, it's not as big of a deal.

I've been up and down on him, but lately, I like the idea of him lining up with Anisimov/Callahan on the 2nd unit. It's a perfect situation for him.

Boyle wasn't that bad at faceoffs last season, I have a hard time thinking Rupp will be much better
