Yes, cheers Lehner. I appreciate the work you've done with the prospect voting. This one just solidifies it all.

Easiest five handclaps I've ever given.

Our top-25 is ridiculous...

Da Costa 13th
Andre Petersson 15th
Mark Stone 17th
Mike Hoffman 18th
Derek Grant 21st
JG Pageau 23th

Some of those guys could be top-6 forwards down the road. Most of them would be top-10 in most prospect pools.

Lehner, formidable job, this need to be stickied.

Our prospect pool has more depth than the Leafs' prospect pool.

Not to mention we have high end talent.

Not to mention the 2-3 minute videos I watched for the first 10.

That's probably because Locke isn't a prospect. Our depth is good and all, but "smiling" about prospect #40 is pretty ridiculous.

He's still considered a prospect? Can't we upgrade him to AHL'er yet?

I don't think smiling is ridiculous when you have basically 2 worthy NHL prospect pools (top-20s). Do you realize this? Our chances to develop gems are twice better than usual

It's refreshing when your prospect pool has been more than ordinary for years (drafting/development = key in today's NHL)

Every Sens fan should be happy and hopeful in this thread. If not, he should ask himself if he's at the right place.

So you're saying our bottom 20 would be among the top 20 in the NHL? I'd strongly disagree with that. Optimism is good and all, but I know that few people around here actually know a lot about our bottom 20 players, which is why it's amusing to hear people proclaim how great it is.

Each prospect "class" has about a 20% graduation rate. That means from the list we can expect close to 8 NHLers. That's a good feeling.

Imagine if we got a #1 goalie, a 1st line winger, and a #1 D-man out of that (even if everyone else was bottom 6/bottom pairing). We'd be set for years 'til Spezza past his prime, by which time I'd hope we'd have a replacement in the pipes.

Seriously? We have excellent depth. Our guys from 20 to 31 could easily be on the top 20 for other teams.
