Legwand's empty netter to seal Anaheim off. no doubt.

Least favorite is forsberg faceplanting on his first shootout attempt

Leggy picking off Hatcher in the playoffs(video #1 above), still the loudest i've ever heard the building.

and

Andrew Brunette vs the Canes... first preds goal ever, first preds win ever, and I was there, along with what would become 17,112 of my closest friends.

Gotta be the ovation for me. That first time we did it gave me goosebumps

Agreed. I'll admit it brought a few tears to my eyes as it was the culmination of everything that had happened the past year and showed that we were here to stay!

1. Dumont shorthanded against the sharks in the playoffs. I bought season tickets for the next year because of that game. It is the PLAY that turned me into a hockey diehard.

2. The first standing ovation. Stood there screaming wondering WTF was going on. Helped form a crowd-defining moment that will and has become a longtime tradition.

3. 8-0 against the wings. Enough said.

4. 2012 when we finished the regular season ahead of Detroit and ushered in a new time of NOT being in the shadow.

I was in shock of what was happening during that game. After the ovation we came back and won, then clinched the playoffs that night or next day i think

October 5, 2005. Hockey returned after a year's absence, and I saw my first game as an Ice Pack season ticket holder. Paul Kariya made 2 unbelievable assists look easy as the PREDS took out the sharkies. I got back into Knoxville around 1 a.m. and started looking forward to my next 3 hour drive back for more special memories.

I got to see legwand score his first ever goal in Toronto against the leafs goalie Glenn Healy! That's gotta top my list! It was October 11/99

Unquestionably, the first TV timeout ovation during the home finale against St. Louis. I had no idea it would be the start of a tradition, but I'm glad it was.

ETA: Paul Kariya's hat trick in the season finale against Detroit in '06, and the win in Game 1 against the Sharks later that month. Also, Scott Hartnell's hat trick on bicycle helmet night; Tomas Vokoun's first shutout, and the first in franchise history (2-0 against Phoenix); Cale Hulse's overtime winner against Boston on the eve of my 11th birthday; Chris Mason's goal in 2006 against Phoenix.

1. First ever home playoff game
2. First Standing Ovation
3. Winning the first round of the playoffs
4. Bill Houlder coming out of the penalty box to score on Ottawa--12/30/2002 I think
5. Cale Hulse scoring against Boston to win in OT :-)
6. Paul Kariya and Peter Forsberg playing together for the Nashville Predators. Didn't pan out but that was really exciting.

How blessed I feel that I could be there for all those moments.

That time we played the Red Wings when a Wings fan entered the restroom after me and complained about having to use the short urinal by exclaiming, "Man, I got the small one again" and being able to walk out quickly after saying, "Don't be embarrassed. They make pills for that now."

Game related? Game 6. Screamed so loud I'm still expecting a news story about a maintenance crew finding my lungs somewhere in 109.

I was at the first win in franchise history (Opening Night Part 2)! They still had all of the Ice Age Returns decor at the entrances and fake snow spitting out of ice arches. Be kinda cool to see them pul that off again for an opening night!

I concur with many of these moments and have to add in Marty Erat's penalty shot in the playoffs vs Chicago (loudest I have EVER heard the Bridge) and the first TV Timeout standing 'O' at the end of the '07-'08 season vs the Blues.

My favorite memory to date is from the 1st season. We drove up from Atlanta to see the Blackhawks. First regular season NHL game I'd seen in the South since the Flames left.

-First home playoff game, it was so incredibly loud even before the game started.

-Beating the Wings 8-0

-Fight night with the Wings, Yzerman and Shannahan got ejected.

-Forsberg OT winner vs Detroit, from a sweet pass from Kariya

-First ever standing ovation, that was incredible.

-Game 6 vs Anaheim

-Sully's hattrick in his debut

-Our first playoff series against Detroit. After we tied the series 2-2, I remember going down the escalator and people were literally running to the ticket windows for game 6 tickets. That was so cool to see.

-I think this was in 06-07, I don't remember exactly what game it was, but it was right before the all-star break and with the win we moved into the #1 spot overall in the entire NHL. And when it was evident we were going to win, the crowd started chanting "we're number one! we're number one!"

-A game vs Columbus a few years ago...we won like 7-0. Hordichuk had a breakaway and scored, Tootoo dumped the puck on net from the neutral zone and was going to the bench and the puck rolled between the legs of the goalie for a goal.

One of my favorites, too. I remember everyone around me laughing, calling him the new secret weapon scoring machine.

YES! It was against Chicago and Leggy got a Hat Trick that game. That chant is something I want to experience again, what a night that was. Thx for the memory refresher

Was that the night Leggy got there about 15 minutes before the game because his wife had had a baby?

Hat trick nights (and stories) are usually pretty good.
