Wow, they looked like they wanted to ****ing kill each other!

I really underestimated Erskine. He put of good against one of the toughest.

Erskine makes a great 3rd pair defenseman. He's big, tough, physical, willing to drop the gloves, and always puts up a good fight when he does.

Wow, what a fight.

Those two guys are huge. I'm glad they didn't end up killing each other.

don't forget that he's the guy that initially put Crosby out of commission.

That was Dave Steckel. The follow up hit from behind by Victor Hedman in Crosby's next game took him out for good:

Dick move? They skate into each other, Steckel's going after the puck the whole time. Don't think he went after his head.

I think Hedman had more of the foolish hit. Steckel looked like an accident trying to beat the Pens up ice - Hedman just straight boarded him from behind. Thats against the rules injury or not.

More on topic, that was a good fight. I'm excited to see Rupp in blue.

Crosby WAS looking the other way... you're right. *holds up hands*

but yes, back on topic: i honestly wasn't excited to have Rupp on the team, solely because of the teams he's been on. if he could throw down like that often and not get knocked out (see: Orr v Rupp) and just kinda chill in the crease, this could be a match made in heaven. and he can't score a hat trick on us, either.

I'm just thrilled that Pruster doesnt have to take on the mother ****ing big boys anymore.

He proved to us and the rest of the NHL that he'll fight the devil himself if he's on two feet, but now we don't need him to do that.

Hopefully Prust can stay healthy this season, and when he does pick his spots, faces guys his size and lays a whoopin' on him to really get the boys going.
