Take a chance on Hainsey and Hossa?

According to the montreal board Hossa has been released by the Rangers. Im not sure if that means hes on waivers and I also hear Ron Hainsey a former first round pick of the Canadiens has also been released. Now with this teams lack of "good prospects" should the avs perhaps take a chance on one or both these guys? Thoughts.

If they can be picked up and sent down to Lowell then sure, why not. If they are to be picked up for the 23 man roster then I say no.

For Hainsey it's confirmed by rds.ca

Hainsey=Skoula. Talented with great offensive upside. Terrible in his own end.

Hossa=Brendl. Big, talented, soft, and unmotivated.

HECK NO.

neither can be sent down without clearing waivers, that was why Montreal traded Hossa to begin with. Hainsey, I don't know what his deal is, he show flashes of brilliance, then fades away to nothing again. Hossa has the potential to be AWESOME, but has a major attitude problem, which I'm sure didn't take the Rangers long to figure out.

Hossa was NOT sent to Hartford or cut or anything.

It's a bunch of Hab fan bs on some fan forum.

Pass on Hainsey, with his engimatic Skoula-esque defensive play and one-way contract.
