Yeah at least in the last two demos I got to beat up on the Pens and Flyers. No division rivals in this one.

Although I love how the new Be A Pro sims to your shift so you don't have to choose between playing 55 minutes and getting bored.

This years version seems to have made very small improvements I guess im the only one who thinks the hitting looks terrible. The animation for the hitting seems so fake compared to last year the guys fall so awkwardly. There is plenty to like though the shooting, puck handling, and anticipation AI is all nice. hopefully when the games is shipped and all the sliders are adjusted it looks real good

I don't mind the hitting as far as one guy going down, but there was too much of one hit leading to 10 guys going down. They should address that for the final product.

I knock Luongo down and Horton trips over him, and Lucic trips over Horton, and Kesler trips over Lucic, and then Luongo tries to get back up and trips over Kesler and barrels into Higgins who knocks the net off. It's pretty ridiculous.

Got a bike last night so I could ride it to school instead of drive and deal with the parking. All was well until I left my last class. On my way home, the ****ing pedals on the bike broke off, and I wound up having to walk the bike about a mile back to my apartment.

While I was walking back, the metal piece that was meant to be attached to my broken pedal cut my leg. Now I have a huge gash on my leg, and a bike with no pedals. Gunna bring it back to the store and try to get new pedals or a new bike.

My day has been ****, how has your's been?

Still not convinced that Irene is going to take as sharp as a turn like they say. It was supposed to take that turn over the past couple of days and then die out in the Atlantic. I really do think that Florida is going to end up getting hit, with the possibility of the Carolinas getting hit if it takes a turn. No way it is going to turn and hit Jersey

Today I'm listening to all 5 tracks of Portnoy's Twelve Step Suite in a playlist as one single movement. Should be the most epic musical journey of my lifetime

There's certain aspects of the hitting that look terrible. The hip check is still really awkward. I think some of the added animations make for more realistic hitting, I.E. the hitter taking the brunt of the hit in some cases, both guys falling, etc.

The over the boards hits look fine.

A lot of small animations make the game smoother IMO, like new shot blocking animations (i haven't seen my guy dive the wrong way for a shot block yet like it always happened in nhl 11).

The goalies being live seems like it's going to be really annoying. It seems like there's still an "invisible shield" that randomly goes down at times. Goalie interference is sure to be this year's tripping penalty the same way tripping was to nhl 11 what regular interference was in nhl 10. Aside from how streaky it is, the animations and physics of the contact look awful.

Overall it looks like it will be a better game, but I always get so pissed when video game production companies market a new addition to the game that is a complete flop and they know it. It took 5 minutes of playing the demo to see that there were some big flaws in the goalie being live aspect of this game. Don't bother adding it if you're not going to do it right.

Okay...

Was wondering if anyone here could give me some computer help.

Frankly, it's running on fumes. Even the simplest aspects of it are messed up, double clicking things doesn't even work anymore. I get this:

"This file does not have a program associated with it for perofriming this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel."

What the hell does that even mean?

That's what I thought, but every virus removal tool I have used didn't even work.

Honestly, I'm probably just going to get a new computer within the next few weeks. I can't deal with it anymore.

If you still have the original windows disc the computer came with, you can wipe your computer and start anew.

I know you aren't supposed to weigh yourself in the middle of the day, but because of how much I ate last night, I weighed myself in the morning and just weighed myself 5 minutes ago. As you all know, I had sushi last night, 30 pieces and some shrimp tempura, then went to the movies at 9:40, ate a LARGE tub of popcorn with 2 bags of M&M's in it (if you haven't had it, you must, popcorns with M&M's in it is amazing). I ate the WHOLE thing. I went home and fell asleep at about midnight on an EXTRA full stomach and woke up this morning feeling like ****, and I weighed the same as I did yesterday morning. Now I just weighed myself and I'm a pound lighter. I've lost a pound and I had that **** last night, how, I will never ever know...
