I think the bottom6 gets shook up a lot more and once teams start keying up on the Richards line, they'll break them up to distribute the offense. That's a PP line, not a skating line.

Lines 3 and 4 have nearly zero offense atm.

2 good offensive lines that both have a physical/defensive presence.
Boyle-AA-Feds would be an excetional shut down/checking 3rd line that can also generate quality O.
The 4th line would be a nightmare to play against and also very defensively responsible.

MZA might force his way onto the 3rd line which would make Avery the extra.

Staal-Girardi
McDonagh-Erixon
MDZ-Sauer

Eminger

IF MDZ and Erixon both make the team I think the McD/Sauer pairing needs to be split up. MDZ needs to be protected defensively. I'd be shocked if he and Erixon make up our 3rd pair.

Valentenko may take MDZ's spot on the 3rd pair with MDZ starting in Hartford.

Looks like a 3-6 team IMO.
this is how I see it too. Zuke could win a spot for sure but at this pt I would say your F group is accurate. Same deal for Vtank but he has to win a spot

I think Hagelin will make next yrs team when we can subtract Avery, EC for sure and likely Feds from the books

I think Dubinsky deserves the nod on the top line

and I am concerned about a distinct lack of size on the 3rd line, moving Boyle there solves that problem

I like the lineup as voted, but thought in terms of forwards, perhaps Stepan should center better scoring forwards to maximize his play-making ability while Anisimov should be put into more of a checking role:

Dubi - Richards - Gaborik
Wolski - Stepan - MZA
Feds - Anisimov - Callahan
Rupp - Boyle - Prust
ex: Avery, Christensen
AHL call-ups: Weise, Hagelin

Didn't the Wolski - Stepan - MZA line click a bit towards the end of last season?

If it were up to me it'd be

Dubi Richards Gabby
Wolski AA Cally
Boyle Step MZA
Feds Rupp Prust

Avery as extra. Size is important on that third line, moving Boyle there helps that cause.

going to be interesting. Alot of fans on this board are set on Boyle as the 4th line C while some like me think he should and will get a chance as a winger on the 3rd line

I have faith in Rupp as the 4th line C with Prust and Avery. I can't see Avery hanging out as a spare so I think Zuke won't make it in the end. EC is a descent spare. I don't care for him getting regular playing time but he is under contract and it's under a million per yr so he does make sense as a spare for this yr

Next yr I would say Zuke, Hagelin take the spots of Avery, EC and I would also let Feds walk after this yr since more kids are coming like Kreider, Thomas and maybe even Miller
