It sucks to lose robo to the wild, but at least we still have beech (and smithson and fiddler) as an insurance policy should any of our other centers not pan out.
Well, Randy Robitaille was picked up off waivers by the Minnesota Wild. So now, if Yanic Perreault gets in a rut, who will take his place if necessary? Maybe Greg Johnson will get to play between Steve Sullivan and Scott Walker for a while (at one point, Barry Trotz was thinking of using Johnson in a more offensive capacity this season), and we'll put someone like Vernon Fiddler on the third line. Or maybe Adam Hall would switch to center on the third line, allowing the team to recall Simon Gamache or Scottie Upshall. Oh, the possibilities! Of course, I hope that Perreault plays great all season, and we don't have to worry about our second-line center position.
Anyhoo...
