That's the main reason why the Giants didn't really offer him much. I would have to bet this entire season will be touch and go with him. I don't even see the point in the Jets using him in preseason, other than to show off a new toy. Kind of stupid to use such an injury prone player in a meaningless game. Have him run routes with Sanchez on his own. Plax has never needed practice (I mean that sincerely).

If we had room I would've taken Plax back.

But there's too many variables with him plus the hard cap now, that I can't be upset Reese didn't go for him.

Like I said, least of my worries as a Giants fan. I would love for him to be great for you guys, the Eagles are enemy number 1 this season and always.

Can't stand Vick. Never liked him, even when he was with the Falcons.

And I love that now that he's had one good season, he's a top 5 QB in the NFL. Probably a top 5 athlete in the NFL, but if we're talking QB play, he is average at best. That's why I find all this "dream team" funny. When was the last time a scrambling QB lead a team to the Super Bowl? Don't worry, I'll wait...

McNabb was the last I remember making the big game, and Elway was the last I remember actually winning. And he was a different type of scrambling quarterback than what we're talking now.

It's definitely a small list.

I don't think I'd call Elway a scrambling QB. He was a QB first who can also run. Vick doesn't even come close to being a good passer as Elway, or even McNabb for that matter. There's probably 15 QBs in the league I'd take before Vick for my team. Just my opinion though.

Oh, I agree regarding Elway. He was considered a scrambling quarterback in his era, but it's very different compared to things today.

I'm not a fan of Vick's game either.

OT Football Sites

Just curious if any of the community on here happens to know of any good sites for watching live NFL games ? Season is coming up and I recently got my cable turned off. Other then football and Ranger games, I had no use for it, so I'm gonna give the internet a try.

I'm unaware of any single site that consistently carries NFL games. MyP2PForum.eu was always the best place for any streaming event, but they've recently been forced offline. ATDHE is your next best bet.

Yeah, it does suck. I'd be very surprised though if they're not back by the start of the NFL season. They'll find a host somewhere.

I'm not.

Still waiting to confirm that our special teams are improved among other questions.

Who's our punter?

We keeping Tynes or Llyod or both?

Slot receiver?

Is Scott another 7th round sleeeper?

Do we have a tight end who can catch over thirty passes.

Is Linval Joseph up to replacing Cofeld?

I'd be willing to bet its only Tynes.

All our 4 receivers (Nicks, Manningham, Hixon, Cruz will cycle in at slot. We won't have one designated guy for the role)

Scott has to make the team first. He has speed but the 3rd RB we need right now is a guy who can block and catch screen passes. Right now the guy who best fills that model is Water.

Its going to be TE by committee this year. Last year Boss missed some games and we survived, we'll use Beckhum on passing downs and some extra linemen for big packages.

Joseph will be more specialized than Cofield (Run Block only) This means that we'll see a lot of Tuck moving inside on passing downs with Kiwanuka coming up to DE. In short, no, but he won't need to. Bernard is also a capable backup.

Yup, the only battles are for spots down the depth charts. Fifth WR (which looks like it's going to be Logan Payne) and for maybe two spots at either LB or DL.

Well, we still need some pass rushers to step up. Maybin & Westerman have opportunities to earn serious time on blitz packages if they can play well.
