Custom Sharks car seat covers

I been working on getting these done for the last few weeks. Ordered the covers themselves from Wet Okole (www.wetokole.com) on the 15th last month (they take almost a month to make/ship), then found a local place that would do the embroidery work. Teal color is a bit lighter than their actual team color which is fine as I wanted to match the cover color, and the orange stick is a bit lighter as well. The oval shape around the logo is from the embroider hoop and should come out with time/use. I think they turned out great!

Still have some tweaking to do on the fit and finishing some straps for the front seats, but the back seats are on completely. Found out when I was there that one of the employees does stiching/repair work for the Sharks on their uni's and said their current teal color was custom made and isn't something normally found.

Haha. Just a heads up that these covers aren't exactly cheap and depending on your car are a ***** to install. I've got a cut and bloody knuckle just from working on them this am and have to re-attach 2 springs under the front seats somehow.

at least luckily for you the company is located in Costa Mesa so they could do the install for you if you drive there.

lol prob not. i did none of the embroidery as the company did. it looks like its all possibly automated as well via computer. i simply supplied the artwork.

the covers are a pain in the ass to put on due to the clips and hooks used on the front seats. still have some tweaking to do to get the fit right, get 2 straps connected, 4 hooks, and get 2 springs back attached. I've got 2 cuts and a bloody knuckle from this mornings work.

Thank you additional people.

The more I think about having these (as awesome as they are) the more i'm trying to think of a spray or something that may help to preserve them. The one that will get the most wear is the drivers seat obviously. Eventually the threads will start to come out. However maybe since they aren't being treated like a shirt and constantly moving and being washed it might not be a problem. Might email the embroider and see what opinions he has too.

Sharks Car Seat Covers

Hello,
I saw your posting with the pictures of the Sharks car seat covers. You stated where you got the car seat covers, but did not mention where you got the embroidery done. Was it done in the local San Jose area and if so, where? If you do not mind my asking, how much (covers plus embroidery) did the seat covers cost? My daughter is making her car into a Sharks card and those seat covers would look great!
How have the seat covers been wearing? What kind of material are they? Any downsides that you have experienced so far?
Thanks.
