Andrei Markov

With the emergence of Subban and Markov unable to stay healthy the past couple seasons (only 52GP combined), and hes getting older, would the habs consider moving him? If so what would the asking price be?

No way do the Habs consider trading him. His trade value is pretty low due to health concerns. If healthy though the Habs are a much better team with him then without him.

Why would we consider moving him if we just signed him to a 3 year extension?

They'd never get what his value is(when healthy) so I'm pretty positive he'll stay put

I was suprised at the deal he got from Montreal considering his injury issues the past two seasons.

If he's able to stay healthy then its likely a good deal for Montreal.

I think Montreal would be better suited to keep him right now, because I think hes more valuable to Montreal right now then whatever he would bring back.

He just signed as a UFA. He's not going anywhere, right or wrong.

I doubt Montreal considers moving him or they wouldn't have just signed him.

He has had injurues the past couple of years but he is an elite d-man when healthy.

A package that would entice the Habs to move him would probably be a package that no team would want to give up without knowing for sure he was back playing at the level he was at a couple of years ago.

If he was playing that well, I have to think Montreal would want a #1 center or it would take quite a huge package of young players.

Habs wouldn't trade him. Other teams might be too worried about the perceived risks, whereas the reward for the Habs is so high with him that there's no way the team gets enough in a trade to approach that reward.

Any team that could have signed for him would know that he is a high risk/high reward player at this point.
