I see Andreoff as nothing more than a 4th liner at best, MAYBE a 3rd liner but certainly not a good or great one. The guy drafted right after him, Anthony Camara is very similar to him. Both are physical players who have a bit of offense to their game and are willing to fight. I would have much rather had Camara who is 18 but that's still not my point. My point was that I don't get why you see him being better than someone like Jordan Weal who I see having better potential and I see potential being more valuable than being further along in the development of his game. And I don't really get the whole comment. I never said ANYTHING rude to you and you come back with some sassy remark for no reason...
Sorry to infringe on your patent of sassy comments. I am just pointing out what Kings scouts, especially Futa himself, has been saying. He is a solid player, has great basics, and good upside. He plays a Clifford-like game but isn't expected to be as high impact as Clifford. He will have a shot at the third line spot ahead of Weal, not to mention Weal lacks any substantial size whatsoever, and is a very one dimensional offensive player (does that sound like someone Murray/Lombardi envision on the third line?). They had Andreoff ranked much higher and was considering taking him with their second before Gibson fell into their lap. Andreoff fits the bill, has the size, is a physically ready much like Clifford was, and plays a solid two way game, and is a PK specialist.

At the very least, Shore is ahead of Weal. LA expects him to be a third line center as his bottom end potential.

Things are going to get a lot more interesting after Toffoli. Deslauriers and Forbort are neck and neck with the 2nd place voting here, with Jones and Kozun getting some votes now, too. It'll be fun to see how the 30 votes for Toffoli spread out from here.

To me, it's between Deslauriers and Jones next and then Forbort. Jones IMO will be an NHL goalie and probably a pretty good one. Forbort has the raw potential but I think Deslauriers will be the better one of the two when their careers are over.

I am surprised how little love our 2011 prospects are getting in the polls. This is a ranking of quality and caliber of prospects, not seniority.

He's 20 years old, he is big at 6-1 205 lbs, has a 15-1-3 fight record and scored 33 goals in 66 games last year... This is the future of our third line.

Hey Telos.....awesome post bud, for a minute their I thought I was reading something from Johnny U. I thought you were a part of the anti-tough guy crowd. Anyway, it's too early to really tell whats going to happen with double A but I like his fights and if Futa smiles and says we really wanted this guy, then I trust his track record with early picks.

I personally wouldn't put AA anywhere near the top ten in prospects though. Lets see what he does in camp and in preseason.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the AA play a few games in the show either....

This is what I was trying to say. I like Weal's potential more and just didn't get why people thought Andreoff was a better prospect than him. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

While I somewhat agree about AA I will say that I will be absolutely surprised if he doesn't stick with the team for a few games after camp and then who knows. Before we signed EM I had AA written in ink to make the bottom 6. Say what you want about his game the facts are that the kid can skate, is fiercely loyal and is one of the smartest young fighters that I have seen on our team in a long time.

Kid can play, he isn't going to be a true top 6 threat ever but if he were centering a line with Cliffy on LW and EM on RW it would be freaking tuff mean and fast without a doubt.
