Woah, woah, woah! Please, not so loud! If anything, you should be asking, "What's with not enough Antons over here?" The great Anton might hear you...

I hear #8 might be available.

On a side note, I wouldn't mind trading for Lappy to fulfill our 3RW. I know I'm in the minority big time especially with his lingering concussion but I just wished he could finish his career here with the kings.

At least it was a year for Fro. I was annoyed when they gave Lubo's number right away to Simmonds.

Meh, it could have been worse.

Simmonds could have taken it off Lubo's back.

Penner-Kopitar-Williams
Brown-Richards-Gagne
Clifford-Stoll-Lewis
Moreau-Richardson-Westgarth

Doughty-Mitchell
Scuderi-Johnson
Martinez-Greene

Quick/Bernier

Why not spread them out a bit and play Lewis and Richardson where they are most effective.

You are very close to the lineup I want to see. I personally believe Richardson is a better center and Lewis is a better right winger and more suitable for the third line, but it may not work out that way due to how seniority is handled on our roster. The only changes I would make is Brown would never play left wing, and I like his chemistry with Kopitar despite the fiery debate that causes. That and I am very interested to see what kind of chemistry Williams can have with Gagne and Richards. My ideal lineup:

Penner-Kopitar-Brown
Gagne-Richards-Williams
Clifford-Stoll-Lewis
Moreau-Richardson-Westgarth/Parse (depending on situation)

Doughty-Mitchell
Scuderi-Johnson
Martinez-Greene

Quick/Bernier

Murray said he wanted Lewis and Loktionov at center. Richardson will play the wing.

Murray loves his size at center. Lewis is 6'-1" 195 lbs and Richie is 5'-11" 192 lbs...and that is generous...Also Lewis looks bigger this summer in those Dodger photos.

Richardson is also weak at center. He can't win draws (then again Lewis needs work there as well), but more importantly, his defensive positioning as a centerman inside his own end was porous. Just look at any time the puck was inside the Kings' end when his line was out during the playoffs and Richardson was the center. The Kings had great difficulty getting the puck out because of they were so weak defensively in that regard. Richardson is a much better winger.

I wonder, if the NBA does have a lockout season, how good will Staples Center's ice be this season?

Which would probably make it worse, I imagine the body heat at a concert is a lot more than at a basketball game.

Here is the article http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puc...rn=nhl-wp11307

Just because he doesn't have a 12 pack doesn't mean he isn't in shape.

An update on Mulletgate from Helene Elliott:

also, on Fraser grievance: Kings have filed paperwork, awaiting Edmonton response. Bettman could then hold hearing or not. Kings can request a hearing, Lombardi said.
