Hi Ducks fans, sort of have a love-in with your team because of the old Winnipeg ties. So my question to you is, what do you think he'll be in terms of production. I am deciding whether to protect him or Shane Doan in my keeper league. I am a contender, but I also like his age to Doan's. I like to think long term just as much short term, and I am not thrilled with Shane's linemates.

He will probably hit 20-30 points this season provided he makes the team (the 3rd line LW spot is his to lose). Long term is anybodys guess, it depends on if he can keep developing his offensive game. I'd say the best case scenario is that he tops out at 50-60 points and the worst case scenario is he produces at a similar rate to his rookie year (20-30 points). What he lacks in his finishing ability he more than makes up for in his hockey IQ but outside of one year in juniors he's never really wowed anyone with his offensive ability.

IMO a comparable player is Marchant. A fast, versatile two way forward who consistently hits 35-40 points a year.

He won`t hit like Doan does, that`s for sure. But if he can get away from sophomore slump, he could be better opinion for fantassy league imo.

He showed that he can get points like no one else in our bottom 6. With Cogs coming here, his points could go up even to 30 - 40. He had pretty good +/- last year to, compared to other bottom 6 forwards.

Phoenix looks much worse than last year and Doan isn`t getting younger.

But if i got to pick one from 2, it would be a head scrather because he`s been in this leagu for short time. Haven`t played fantasy leagues for a quite time now, but i`d probably keep Doan from start, and if McMillan is continuing his great play than change both. McMillan isn`t popular around the league anyway, so most likely no one will pick him anyways. It`s a hbead scratcher for sure, but good luck!

I ended up getting two late first rounders for Doan, so makes my life easier. McMillan it is! I like the kid's game from what I have seen and read on here. I wanna take a chance on him.
