If you're the SEC how do you not want a one of the big three Texas Schools in your conference. That being said something else would have to happen, cause like you said, no way it's gonna be 13 teams. Maybe it's time one or two C-USA teams jump conferences? There're probably 4-5 (Tulsa, Houston, ECU, UCF come to mind) that are good enough to be in a bigger more prestigious conference.
Soon, we'll probably be seeing 16-team conferences.
I might be in favour of this. Dissolve the C-USA (it gets no love anyway even though it has good teams) and spread those teams out over the other conferences

There have been rumors of Houston to the Big East as recently as the TCU jump, and it seemed to have legs to the point where it was being talked about pretty seriously before getting called off. ECU, UCF, Memphis and Southern Miss have been rumored to the Big East for years now. Honestly I think what's more inevitable then anything else at this point is 4 superconferences of 16 teams, where the 4 champions have a playoff. And then here come the anti-trust lawsuits.
Best idea I've seen yet on how to handle college football is to take that 4 conferences of 16 (8 divisions of 8 of course) but have a promotion/relegation system similar to the sports leagues in Europe and to base it on region. Though that would prettymuch kill 1AA sadly since a lot of the powerhouses at that level like Georgia Southern, App State, Montana, Delaware, and UNH would almost certainly all move. Hell, it's been rumored that Montana and App are looking to make the move for a while now.

Or ideally (as in blow the whole ****ing thing up and start from scratch, keep the basketball conferences):
Relegated due to rules violations: Miami, Ohio State, USC (UNC amongst others almost made this list but nothing has been handed down yet, Miami is just there due to current allegations and history of violations)
Get a real team then we'll talk: Baylor, Washington State, Iowa State
New place at the big boy table: BYU, Boise Sate, East Carolina
I like this idea, plus I always thought it'd be cool for ECU and NC State to be in the same conference. They should play every year. They're as much our rivals as UCF or Southern Miss, maybe even more so.
If it went to 4 super conferences, the current AQ leftovers would watch their athletic programs die. Alot of those schools would be left with sizable debt and no real stream of revenue to pay it off let alone enough to fund a program. This would be the real death penalty for schools like Cincinnati, Baylor, Boise, and TCU.
Also, I know its late in the game but would anyone be interested in a fantasy football league for our message board??? We could do college or pro. ESPNs college league are pretty cool because they dont require a draft. anyone interested?

I find the funniest part to be that those asking to see such a report have no idea how difficult it would be to get one. In order to even request one, you'd need to know the date, the location, and most importantly, the parties involved.

...And physically go to the Raleigh police headquarters, according to the link one of the trolls himself posted. They really expect us to do that?

Not to mention pay the fee for requesting a report, then actually posting it online. Which in the case of a sexual assault victim, I don't think would be too wise.
