I don't think people were as surprised with the actual rankings (aside from St. Croix and some others), as they were with the actual scouting reports and perceived upside in the Hockey Prospectus article.

Make room in that top4 for Tim Erixon....Love you DG, but Timmy E, skates twice as good and he does everything else just the same.

If you're keeping Zuccarello, technically you've got to keep McDonagh in there aswell. I think they were both left out due to the games played in the NHL last year...

That's a good point.

Take Zuccarello out, move everyone under him up a spot, Bourque at #10.

it seems that all of these prospect ratings that I see making the rounds are insistant on rating this years new prospects higher then some of the older ones. Idk if i agree completely with it, but we did get some very good prospects in the draft this year so maybe all of the love for them is warranted

I think a lot of people underrate Thomas outside of the Rangers Boards.

I really project this guy to be a better version of Brian Gionta. I for one am very excited to watch him playing in training camp and wouldn't really be surprised if he makes the team. It really depends on if he bulked up enough to the point where he can play in the NHL.

But off pure talent alone this kid is NHL ready now.

Miller may have more potential long term. Hagelin looks good for now.
Its now or never for Weise. I'd give him every fair shot to make it.

Coming off an amazing playoff performance, I predict he will rule in the upcoming tornament setting the stage for an eye catching training camp.

Don't get your hopes up. Gionta almost scored 50 goals, is a constant 25-30 goal threat and a captain. If Thomas is any where near that, our team will be absolutely stacked.

That would be in an absolute perfect scenario I meant to say.

I'm not sure where he projects as of right now. We first need to see if he can really become strong enough to battle with the bigger guys in the NHL.

He reminds me a lot of Gionta, but with a better shot. If he can translate his talents to the NHL level the kid will be really good.

In a perfect world I would love for him to be very similar, if not slightly better, than Gionta. I don't expect anything however.

I do! Even his dad has high hopes. He is twice as good than his dad at this age. Stumpy played 20 years in the NHL.

I am still really high on Yogan, but he is not a top 10 prospect yet. After this year? Very possible.

Weiss has no NHL game. I think it's time to start dropping Kreider a little. While I agree he should have gotten more ice time, his numbers are not great. You can't point to WJC's forever. I also see a ton less drive to make the NHL compared to a prospect like Miller.

Kreider is overrated. If there's a top line winger in this system it's Thomas.

bourque shouldnt be on the top 10 list either.

top 10 is clearly

just found the WORST top 10 from Jess at Prospect Park

http://theprospectpark.blogspot.com/...-accurate.html

The guy is a freaking joke and this list made it official. Erixon and Miller not on the list. Campbell (that's right CAMPBELL) at 10. Hagelin at 2, Kreider at 4.
