This is a fair battle. Muzz is NHL ready and better than allot of guys in the league already.
Kitsyn is going to be a very good player too.
I went with Max but Muzz is the real deal too. The sad bit is that KaBOOM should be right here too. Kozun imo would be our top prospect if he was 6'0 190. He is gonna play that big or bigger once he gets his feet wet up here and I can't wait to see it happen.
B KaBOOM should get a few cups of tea this season if not outright make the team and after a bit of time will start showing why he is such a fan favorite everywhere he ends up.
First of all, thank you to Kingsfan for doing all these polls. It's greatly appreciated.
Second of all, I voted Vey. He's made some of the greatest progress over the past year.
Third of all, I suggest adding either Moller or Holloway. I have a few people ahead of them both, but I think more people will be inclined to start voting for either of them.
This. Plus he has an offensive upside that most people forget.
I said good shot for that. I don't ever see Muzzin being a huge offensive guy but I see him being a replacement for Scuds/Mitchell in the next few years and also have the ability to handle some 2nd unit PP time if he is needed to.

Thanks, and it's no problem. It's actually a refreshing distraction from Mulletgate, Doughty's contract and Penner's waistline.
I'm hoping to add Holloway or Moller, but it depends on who everyone votes for. So far, looks like we might be adding Holloway next time.
I find it funny that Hickey gets 9 voted but no one will post saying they chose him or why. I'm not someone who labels him a bust or dislikes the guy but to me, I think it's obvious that Muzzin is head and shoulders ahead of Hickey right now. I also think that Muzzin has better to equal potential and is much more likely to reach his potential.
I voted for Hickey. I think he has a very high ceiling and while Muzzin is a safer pick, and a good one in his own right, I just think hickey is the best player still available on the list. Hickey may be the next John Slaney, or he may be a legit top 3 defenseman capable of logging 20+ minutes in all situations and wearing a letter.
I doubt he'll ever live up to his draft ranking, but I just think that if he pans out, he'll be a very important NHLer.
I could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time.

If we are following the same rules for this year as we have in the past years I think Moller wouldn't count anymore as he has played enough games to be considered as graduated. You can make the argument that since he is playing over seas this year he should still be considered a prospect but if we are doing this by the book he shouldn't be considered...
I haven't been doing it by the book or Bernier would have been on the list from the start. I'll leave the rules to those who do the site list, but in reality I think we all agree that, 87 games or not, Moller is still a prospect and is viewed as such by the Kings management.
Voted Kozun but I think Hickey is still one of our best defense prospects. He gets looked down upon because of the 4th overall pick and still isn't in the NHL.
Kozun is going to be a good player in this league and I believe he learned a lot in his 1st year in Manchester.
Hasn't Bernier graduated as of this past year or did he not play enough games? I guess I just assumed he would be considered graduated in the next ranking and that's why he wasn't included...
Whoops, my brain was three steps behind the fingers. I voted Zatkoff but would have gone with Hickey(again) had I waited for everything to align upstairs.
Zatkoff was my player to add for my last vote, still stuck in there I guess.

By HF standards he's still a prospect, but I think it'd be a shock if he played another minor league game again.

According to HF rules he's still a prospect, but I think we all consider him a NHLer at this point.

Boy some of you have absolutely NO idea what your talking about. These votes have been rather rediculous and seriously misguided. Good thing none of you are in any way shape or form any sort of rational decision maker in the organization. Guess that's why this is a fan message board.
