I hope I wasn't the only one that just watched Spain/Chile turn into a mass brawl. Torres tried kicking a Chilean player, Arbeloa was being, well, himself. Awful stuff all around.

Hey most of those players are actually part time. They have other jobs. When there is a match, they show up and play for their country.
Oh I have respect for them for trying. But these matches are ********. Liechtenstein may occasionally get a draw but San Marino will never beat any real country. I don't bother watching.
If I was in charge of a country playing one of those teams, I'd use that match to call up a first XI made up of players with duel nationality that may go play for someone else in the future. Harsh and cruel and dilutes the competitive spirit of the match but I would. I employ that trick in FM all the time.
Hey! You switched your flag....is that after that uhhh "result" today?
Hehe, don't even get me started. Drawing against Azerbaijan. ****ing Leekens. I wish the Belgian FA was as fickle minded as the Chelsea directors and kicked his ass to the curb a long time ago. It's pathetic. They problem is that Belgium has great youth talent but very average to poor veteran presence. You don't have that leader who can get these kids straight and if you don't have a manager who can't even coach pee wee soccer, then you at least need one or two veteran players to lead the team.
I changed my flag because I have moved to France for work now. I am Belgian, but this is my location now. And it's not like I'm proud of the national team here either. Albania nearly embarrassed France tonight. I can't believe Chelsea are stuck with Malouda at least until January or god forbid, 2014. The son of a ***** wants a extension too. **** me. Benzema is starting to really impress. Ribéry is so overrated it's not even funny. M'Vila was really good in the first half. Nice finish for his goal. Nasri had some nice moments. The defense of Evra, Abidal, Kaboul and Reveillere was shaky too. Malouda was invisible all game long. Lloris saved their ***** tonight for sure (even though he let in a pretty weak goal IMO).
It's better than what I was expecting but yeah... 11 000 to a WCQ is weak in a big city like Toronto. But even TFC's attendance has been down lately, obviously thanks to a **** team and high prices but still...

Finland actually won San Marino only 1-0... and to be honest, Finnish goalkeeper Hradecky should've been sent off in that game after he tripped a opponent inside the penalty box.

We won them 8-0 in the first match in these qualifiers.
And that was for a WC qualifier too. Ahh the good old days, when we could actually score. Today we'd probably put one goal into the net and it would be an OG from a San Marino player too
btw, depleted line-up? I know 9 of the 11 player would start in a Euro 2011 final if it was tomorrow. Depleted lineup...lol
Missing your best player (Robben), two of three (vd Vaart, de Jong) starting midfielders and the one who would've relaced either of Robben and vd Vaart (Afellay), is depleted.
Euro teams like the San Marino's of the world so the players can boost their stats. Its like college football where all the powerhouses start of with some weak school and win by 50...
